How much would it actually cost to get Kuz? He’s all but told Washington he’s gone in the summer, so they almost certainly will move him. He seems like the ideal Crowder replacement, but we’d need a 3rd team. Would they take Grayson and 3 2nds? 2 from Milwaukee and 1 from us.

Book's gonna be exhausted at the end if Monty doesn't give him a couple minutes rest here.
There’s zero chance Booker would let Monty take him out
Book would murder Monty if he tried.
He wants 70 in a W.
Should have had 60 but missed way too many FTs.

That last shot by Booker.

Glad we won't see these guys again unless it's in the playoffs.
Pretty sure that was a message for Zion.

Book did get some friendly whistles, but I didn’t see any obvious calls that the refs missed for them. They took a lot of jump shots and we did a good job limiting Zion from even taking shots in the 1st half. In the 2nd half we didn’t really put up much resistance when Zion got near the rim. We did a bad job of fouling if he shot 12/15.

Does anyone have a problem with Zion?

The guys I don’t like are Alvarado and Valunciunas. Hayes if he played, but he doesn’t. I have zero issue with Zion.

It was awesome to see Book go off and to see the Sun get the W. But it's a little concerning that we let them get such a huge lead on us and were only barely able to beat them despite Book having a career night. If that's what it takes for us to topple the Pelicans, we're in big trouble if we see them in a playoff series.

I do agree they are a problem for us…and I know they didn’t have Ingram, but I’m not that concerned about this game specifically. They got that big lead because we went ice cold from 3 and couldn’t score. That’s less of a problem if we have Ayton/CamJ/CamP and whoever else we add via trade.

Not only did we go ice cold but the Pelicans were unbelievably hot. McCollum was on fire and their team seemed to make every three. And we weren't defending them poorly either.

Man, I didn't realize Book had 25 in a row either while watching the game. And man do I love a dirt worker like Okogie. Really liking this guy. He couldn't shoot either when the season started but I've seen a huge improvement since. He's a guard right? And he's out there guarding the biggest PF in the game? What?! I was glad to see that he was the first player off the bench last night.

I was listening on SiriusXM. It was 73-54 Pels early 3rd quarter and I just turned it off. I went to Espn.com two hours later to see how bad they lost by and saw that they came back and won 118-114. My heart was full of joy.

Booker did what a franchise man is supposed to do. 😉
