This starting lineup has no one able (or willing, in DA’s case) to generate paint points. So we’re treated to watching a disgusting procession of bricks from the mid-range and 3.
Our first paint basket came at 9:40 in the second quarter with Dario (who should never play over Ish) passing to Jock for a dunk.
Paul is toast (-31 in the half) and Shamet firing his rockets at the rim. DA won’t attack. This team is disgusting.
This team is better off both short and long term without the black hole known as CP3. He slows the pace down to a painful stop and he is just awful defensively. He is a liability on both ends unless it happens to be a game where his shot is falling.

Bad coaches play a system that they try to fit players into, no matter who is available. good coaches adjust their systems to take advantage of their player's strengths.

Just turned the game on after halftime. This is really painful to watch. Terrible ball movement, listening to Ann Meyer’s Dyrsdale, Knicks forcing contact and getting the whistle, etc. Awful.
Kevin Ray doing his best to convince us the Suns are still in this one.
