Funny that you guys have already touched on offensive players who initiate contact and now discussing a Zion clip

D'Angelo literally last night.....
Just being salty after a loss or nah

...
He's not wrong. Perimeter players can do basically anything with the ball in their hands, and the players who have strength + handling skill are unstoppable. I's the same with Luka and Giannis.

I think this is a really insightful take on changes to how the game is called. What do the old-timers think? Is this guy right?

Oh, Mitchell did it in OT? Pfft.

Don't follow the Hornets as much but there does seem to be a common theme with their injuries.

A bad medical staff can really hurt your team. It hasn't bitten us much since we have such a young core, but I worry all the time about how we ran off all the strong med/training people we used to have and replaced them with WebMD.

Can’t say anything about the first two, but a sprain is a ligament tear. There are degrees of course and I assume Oubre probably had a 1st or 2nd degree sprain initially and it turned into a full 3rd degree tear of the ligament. But a sprain is the tearing of a ligament.

Why I enjoy playing Fantasy League is the awareness it brings to other talents
As a result, all these guys are youngsters I actually familiar with from checking FAs in Fantasy. Cool stuff that they balled out like this tbh

NBA execs watching closely as struggling Raptors begin crucial homestand

https://www.sportsnet.ca/nba/article/nb ... homestand/
It seems inevitable that changes will be coming, with the Feb. 9th trade deadline a referendum on how much faith Raptors president Masai Ujiri and general manager Bobby Webster have in their current direction.

The rest of the league is waiting anxiously.

As one league source who has been monitoring the Raptors situation closely in recent weeks put it to me: “Toronto are the first domino. What they do will affect teams all across the league: Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Atlanta – not that it’s about deals with any particular team, just that people are going to be waiting to see what the Raptors do before they make their moves. Toronto could set the market.”

The problem is that according to multiple league sources, with the season approaching the halfway point, an obvious path forward hasn’t materialized. Instead of things becoming clearer, the waters seem even more cloudy.

“No, I don’t know when they’re going to pivot” joked one league source when contacted recently.

Said another: “It’s all very nebulous right now.”
The Wolves really screwed up the market during the Summer and handwringing over the "return value" of the next star dealt will be obnoxious because of the Wolves blunder.

I just watched it. The refs almost screwed over the Kings. Called a foul on a Markkanen three where Markkanen kicked out his foot unnaturally to kick his defender. Should have been an offensive foul. Instead he got three FTs and made them all.

Hopefully this paints a picture of the trade landscape. Jones isn't sitting on his hands or thinking this roster is complete. No teams are making trades right now and until one domino falls everyone's waiting and watching. The worst thing Jones can do is make a bad trade now for the short term while Book is out and miss out on a better trade a month from now.

But that doesn't fit the narrative of him ignoring all 3,582 hypothetical Suns trades posted on social media in the past week. He's so lazy, SMH.

Well that really isn't accurate. If Jones was willing to give up a 1st rounder to Houston, Eric Gordon would be a Suns right now. In that instance, I'm glad Jones didn't pull the trigger. If Jones was willing to accept Washington's offer, Crowder would be a Wizard right now. That could be a miss.

So a trade could have been done. I don't think any team is ready to pull the trigger on a big deal, but we're not talking about a big deal: we're talking about Jae freakin' Crowder. Too many people are acting like Jones is trying to trade Kevin Durant.

Was going to ask about that. We still doing the whole consulting from afar/video conference call they implemented when they fired Aaron Nelson? If so that makes sense why we have so many injuries. If so hopefully the new owner will fire the WebMD company and get live humans who went to school and have professional training experience.

I thought the next evolution was going to be AI providing medical advice and treatment?
