We're currently 8th in the West. Right behind us are the Blazers, Jazz, Wolves, and Lakers. Despite our struggles I still think we're better than all of those teams, especially after we start getting some of our guys back. I also think we're better than the 7th-place Clippers. But after that you hit a clump of teams that I think may be better than us this year, sadly: the Warriors, Kings, Mavs. I could see the Kings or Mavs dropping off later in the season, but you never know. I'd prefer to get up to 6th and avoid the play-in, but we could be down more in the 9-10 range for a while. Our next stretch of 8-10 games or so is really brutal, with lots of tough matchups. After that stretch we could be down with the Lakers or even worse. Gulp.
