Where’s our max big guy on that list? Never even heard of Walker Kessler.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Are we soft tanking? Waiting for new ownership? Seems weird that every injury has a rather long time table before re-evaluation.

There's been chatter on here for quite a while about Mikal struggles being due to injury. That he needs to forget the Iron Man streak and sit/recover for a couple games
I gave my opinion in the Heat thread on what I see in his play and even as one of his fans, I think the injury thing would be just an excuse. We wanted to see how he would perform in a higher usage role and the fact is he's having more downs that ups at the moment

I don't think Mikal is injured. I just think he isn't good at being a focal point of the offense, and he's in a shooting slump from trying to do too much.
Re: Suns News: Week 12 (1/2 - 1/8)
Bridges is a wonderful role player shoved into too much responsibility for his talents, which is fine, he's still very good for what he is. 15/5 and elite D is a very useful player, he just seems tired.
Love, Hurts.

Yep, I lean towards overworked and specifically too much responsibility. He looked fine physically, just missing shots

Exactly. You can’t be everything. Great Defenders are asked to do too much at the sacrifice of their offensive game. Add to the fact that his offensive improvements have often come while playing against defenses more focused on Book, CP3, and Ayton.

He's a terrific role player, but not a star. That said, he shouldn't be considered untouchable in trade talks.

I think there's some fatigue there and also defenses paying more attention to him with no other real threats on the floor. He's not an instinctive scorer to begin with.
Re: Suns News: Week 12 (1/2 - 1/8)
Wait what? That sounds to me like he just admitted he's playing hurt.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 4:44 amThere's been chatter on here for quite a while about Mikal struggles being due to injury. That he needs to forget the Iron Man streak and sit/recover for a couple games

Malfeasance by James Jones. Kinda turning into the Elon Musk of GMs. Thinks he's a genius but everyone else is just standing around laughing at him while the ship slowly sinks.
Tired of making excuses for him. Needs to do something. This team is incredibly uninteresting.

Ishbia bought the team, wouldn't he be Musk? Does this mean he's going to fire 75% of the team?djy2j wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 7:26 pmMalfeasance by James Jones. No, he would fire 75% of basketball operations employees.and bring in his own people.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 9:08 pmIshbia bought the team, wouldn't he be Musk? Yeah the titles don't match but thats why i mentioned "of gms." With the team sale in limbo Jones as close to the one being in charge as we got. Just reminds me of that situation because the Suns value going from contender to lottery team in a months span.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 9:08 pmIshbia bought the team, wouldn't he be Musk? Also I think Sarver took care of the 75% aspect a while back when he fired all the training staff and sold the G League team.
