Imagine your reaction two months ago if I told you the Suns hadn't made a single roster move and Landry Shamet was starting at point guard. Oh, and some people think Monty Williams is the biggest problem with the team.

I know you’re speculating on what the Suns are thinking, but this is nonsense. We’re trying to protect the sensitive chemistry or a team that’s won like 4 of its last 20 games? There are zero active PGs on the roster. This is insane.ShelC wrote: ↑Sun Jan 08, 2023 3:03 pmI don't think ownership has much to do with it. I think we have a tight knit group and aren't going to just bring in a rando just because he's a guard. They're either going to bring in someone they're familiar with who they think can help or go with what they've got.

Yeah, this is essentially negligence at this point without knowing of the transaction limitations, if any, placed on Jones.

He was just OK, but the team got off to a brutal start with that lineup.

Shamet just should’ve went to the rim instead of trying to force it Mikal

It's weird how no one has an issue with Monty's offense when the players actually make their open shots.

So it's going to be a "No-Defense Night" apparently.

Marcus Banks anybody? I just started watching. Very aggressive Ayton to start. Love it!
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Impressed with Mikal's shotmaking tonight. Creating a bit more off the PnR than usual.

I really wish Monty would let DWJ bang one of his daughters instead of Landry.

It's about that time where we give the game away.
Re: Game Day: Cavaliers (25-15) @ Suns (20-20), Sun 1/8/23
Yea we keep hanging tough but don't have the horses to really make the push and build/keep a lead.

Nobody is going to convince me that Damian Lee is a rotation player for a playoff team.

And this quarter has been like watching NBA vs G-League.

Played well for three quarters.
But fourth quarter ...

Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Who were we bidding against when we signed Landry Shamet to that contract?
Ungh.

I have to disagree with EJ - you're not looking to sign a player to replace Booker or Paul, you're looking to sign a player who can help you more than the stiffs they're running out there every night.
