Ayton is just God awful on D. Just doesn’t even try.

I may pull back on my defense of Ayton. He's missed a couple of bunnies so far in the second half ...LazarusLong wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 9:22 pmAyton is only 4-12 from the field, but he isn't the major problem.
The bench blows this evening, and Bridges is MIA so far.
Monty's rotations have been problematic.
Also, the refs missed a couple of obvious fouls, including one on Paul where Dwight Powell all but confessed to swiping CP3 in the face.

Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

The team's rhythm is off. Gotta find a lineup that works cuz the starters aren't cutting it.

DA been terrible
I usually don't get on him as many on here already do but I been seeing reports that he doesn't give the same effort/focus on D and it sure looks that way tonight
I've been amazed by Biz the last couple games and last season for me it was comparable how they Anchored the paint but obvious difference was DA skillset on O
DA here getting boards but Biz set a different tone last couple games IMO
Then DA sure bringing the energy on O but it just resulting in rushed shots and missing too many bunnies
It's kinda brutal right now

Dumb technical, bit I'm kinda surprised they haven't gotten him before now for that

Lee and Biz bringing a spark. Thought Monty might've left DA in there 2 minutes too long, especially coming off of being sick. I wonder if we see Jock later on too.

Sure bud, he got bodied by a 200lb C and Bridges was the leading scorer and assist guy if I recall.JeremyG wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 9:48 pm24/14/4. Best player overall.

Of course Dinwiddie turns into a superstar

Again we see that lack of a baseball pass at the end of the quarter.

Dinwiddie did this to us in the Playoffs also
Honestly if Josh not impacting the game on D (no Luka to guard, not stopping Dinwiddie)....
He should be sitting

Every time he plays the Suns.
Suns always get some rando decent player that goes full all-star against them. I dont know if its because they hate the Suns or the team just stinks out loud defensively.

And did CP3 n Mikal just play the whole 3rd ?
Who's starting the 4th
Coming back with a less than ideal lineup again like in the 2nd ?
