The team just doesn’t play well with Ayton…blame it on whatever you want, the fit just isn’t working. Something needs to change.

Lol. If Ayton even shot 50% we would have won. Most of those were not bad shots or shots he normally misses. Just didn't have his legs back.

I’m not just talking about tonight…go look at some of the net ratings with him on the court. Only Craig has a worse net rating. It’s just not good. There’s a reason we win everytime he sits. He’s stopped playing defense this year. He wants to be featured on offense and that’s just not something this team wants to do(nor should they). He really just needs to go to a rebuilding team that will feature him on offense and let him pretend to play defense. That seems to be what he wants.


He’s had his moments where he’s valuable to this team(namely the 2021 playoffs) and he had a good year last year, but he’s not playing with the same focus, energy, or desire this year. It always kinda came and went, but it’s almost never there. I don’t know if it’s the fact he got paid, that he felt shafted, or if he’s just done with the team, but you can’t tell me he’s been the same player this year.

I think a lot of us would have more tolerance for Ayton if he wasn’t making about 25% more than he should. He’s simply not a max player, like many of us have been saying for two years.

You also just can’t win with a C that doesn’t play defense unless they’re elite offensively…and just look how far that’s gotten Denver. If Ayton isn’t going to play defense he’s worthless to us. He had a bad offensive night shooting, but that I can live with. I just don’t know why he’s taken major steps back on defense. Was Crowder really that important?

I also like him. I just like the Suns more and him not producing at a level that matches his salary isn’t good for the Suns.

Just sucks we wasted a really good CP3 game…not sure how many of those we have left. Anyways I’m done for now. We get the Spurs next so we’ll probably look great again and all will be well. I’ll be here and make my comments but I can’t wait for February 9th. I need to see what this roster looks like because it needs some serious help and really needs Booker. Come back soon Book!
