I disagree, but he shouldn't be taking this many crunch time shots.

Great way to bounce back after the embarrassing loss the Celtics gave in the valley.

So where are the the season is over comments from Wednesday?

Of all the stupid tweets I’ve ever seen, this may be the stupidest. This is what I mean when I say people don’t watch the games carefully enough. Ayton had to back out of the paint in order to avoid a 3-second defensive violation, and by the time he could get back in the paint, Ish had already strip-fouled Tatum.

I had a reply ready to go that said, “Nope. We’re gonna win this one.” But I’m glad I didn’t jinx it.

Bench was golden tonight.
Also, if anything, Saric increased his trade value with a 14-point, 13-rebound effort. Hit 4-7 from deep.
And played some decent defense.
Suns took care of the rock, with only 8 TOs (Celtics had 14).

Really solid win. C's looked a little off and Tatum was sleep walking for the 1st half but good to see us gut out this win on the road. Offense flowed better with the bench guys - DLee, Saben, Dario, Jock, Ish all made plays that impacted the game. Nice to see Mikal come on late again and he did a really good job defensively I thought. CP's been bogging the offense down tho, he's gotta play faster.

Thing look a lot beter when they don;t sleepwalk through the start of the game and the bench doesn't get it's asses kicked.

If we trade him for Kyrie, I won't miss the 8-second violations that's for sure.ShelC wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 8:06 pmReally solid win. This week is such a microcosm of what a weird season this has been. We lose badly to a mediocre Hawks team, then we go into the Celtics' gym and beat one of the best teams in the league. Are we good? Are we bad? Are we just a coin flip every game? This team doesn't feel right; you have Ish Wainwright and other scrubby players getting crunch-time minutes, and yet you have some real gems like Mikal Bridges and Damion Lee chipping in every night. I do think that if we can just get Booker back, we'll be pretty good. That plus deadline trades could give us what we need to make a run.
I wish that we could give a more consistent effort. I hate seeing us fall way behind early in games and then lose by 30 points. Great teams don't let that happen. You lose some games, but you stay in it and you keep the score close and you don't let yourself get blown out.
Glad to see Saric playing so well. He is easy to forget about, but he is a great luxury to have as a bench forward. He might get shipped out in a deadline trade, but I hope we find a way to keep him. He's worth more to us than to whatever team we'd trade him to, if that makes any sense.
Our bench was a big part of why we won this game. Boston's bench gave them almost nothing, other than 12 from Brogdon. We got 36 points off the bench. Given all our injuries we don't usually win the bench battle.

This was our first win all season against an Eastern Conference team on the road.
