Sheesh…. That’s some range! Used to love when thunder Dan would sink 3s from 5 feet behind the arc.

Simmons and picks!!! Simmons and picks!!!
In that case, the Suns can offer Ayton and ASK Toronto for picks, right??

I said I while ago, that considering timelines, Toronto should be the ones looking to strike an Ayton-Siakam deal, I truly prefer to keep Ayton that undervalue him, attaching multiple picks to him to get a Siakam or KD deal done. Not going full Jeremy here, but he is right that DA have all the tools to be a force, the team that unlocks Ayton is going to be great, I also think the Suns are not going to be that team, but that’s no reason to sell this low on him, 3-4 picks? That’s Simmons’ territory.

There is a glitch in the Matrix:
Sometimes it pays to have the next man up be a young player with some potential chomping at the bit for a chance, as opposed to an Ish Wainwright.

No Luka? No Kyrie? No problem. Looks like the Mavs have something left after the trade:

If Brooklyn is willing to part with Claxton, Siakim might be a Net once we get to the deadline.

Re: Around the League: Week 17 (2/6 - 2/12)
I think it’s more of a ‘build with’ than ‘build around’.
Claxton has developed really well and is the prototypical Center from a defensive standpoint. He’s a good example of a guy I think most of the league would prefer to have for $15-18M than someone like Ayton for $30M+.
(This is not an invitation to get into an Ayton debate. Just using him as a frame of reference.)

I don’t see why Claxton gets you Siakim, nets still need to make up 20 million plus, who else the nets trading? Dinwiddie and DFS can’t be combined with other players. Joe Harris?? Ben Simmons??? And only 1 2029 1st? Lol
Re: Around the League: Week 17 (2/6 - 2/12)
Simmons is who I’ve seen…and I’m hoping it’s a situation where they use our picks to help get him since they are sending us Durant haha

Raps: Ayton, 2 1st from Phx
Nets: Siakim, Crowder, 2 1st from PHX
Suns: KD
Dinwiddie, DFS, Crowder, Siakim ain’t a championship team but it’s a playoff team.

Ya I really hope Brooklyn is just trying to stay decent instead of doing a full rebuild and that’s why they are targeting solid vets over younger players and picks

You could also send CamJ and Dario to Toronto so they can send OG to the nets, then we take on Joe Harris’s shitty contract. Give Toronto 3 1st instead of 2 while also sending 1 1st to the Nets still.
Dinwiddie, DFS, Crowder, OG, Siakam and getting Joe Harris bad contract off the books, not bad.
Toronto gets CamJ, Ayton, Dario expiring, 3picks and also lowers their tax bill for this year.
But I prefer the first deal I made up.

Kinda random folks but know me and my fantasy league references
In my main league I was happy to snag Jalen Green and Jabari. Thought Green would kick on after a very good end to last season and I like Smith skill set.
Every now and again I peep at a game instead of just checking stats. The Rockets are so terrible, I mean like really badd. It's high school stuff how they don't get back on transition D and then in half court backdoor cuts eat them alive.

I don't think Stephen Silas is a great coach.

Rockets are the second coming of the Orlando Magic. They have some great young talent but are all incredibly immature and have no idea how to win games. They clearly aren't listening to their coach either and there isn't a lot of veteran presence on that team. They will probably be bad for quite some time a la the Orlando Magic. It's tough to watch them as it seems it's just a bunch of guys out to get theirs every night.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 07, 2023 8:53 amKinda random folks but know me and my fantasy league references

I mean you told us you were fine in the west…you can’t speak like that and not face the consequences when you lose games

No reason for jazz to take crappy deals, but I imagine their asking price will come down as we get near the deadline
