LOL! That's ridiculous. I think that is going to be very ugly.

I get where Cam Thomas is coming from. He scores 40 in 3 straight games and now he is back coming off the bench?
I think the problem for Vaughn is that he probably doesn't like the idea of starting CamJ at the 4, but he also wants to keep him and Bridges on the court together. So if you're committed to that strategy, then that pushes Cam Thomas to the bench.

Love all day in that scenario.INFORMER wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 9:40 amJock definitely gives you more on the defensive end. And he is probably a better threat in the post than Love. But Love gives you better passing, 3-point shooting, and rebounding.
But honestly, there isn't any reason to choose between the two. I think it is more of a question of whether you want to convert Ish or sign Love.
I wonder how much the JJ connection will be in play here if the Suns are interested.

Young and dumb. Making it all about himself. He'll learn. I get it. He wants to be the star.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 10:01 amI have nothing against yung fella
I scooped him up in fantasy prior to the trade and enjoyed the scoring barrage but mentioned that he doesn't play any D
Now watching the games because of the Twin, dude body language is never the best tbh. I guess it's rough going from the talk of the city one week to playing 15-20mins. He probably felt like with no "All Stars" coming back that he would still be a go to player
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Saw that. I always think I'm watching former Celtic Gordon Hayward when I see this guy.

That's right, and it'll be problem if either guy is playing important playoff minutes.INFORMER wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 9:40 amJock definitely gives you more on the defensive end. James Jones obviously knows Kevin Love from his playing days. I wonder if James will leverage his position and Ishbia's open wallet to bring in Love. He'd also be coming from Cleveland, which has it's own drama for the owners.

Re: Around the League: Week 18 (2/13 - 2/19)
This is pretty clearly an issue when evaluating him as an NBA player and part of a team culture. He probably thinks he needs more minutes because there's a good chance he can secure a huge contract. I get that. But the league has known about his talent, that's never really been in question.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 10:01 amI have nothing against yung fella

Scoot Henderson and a few other G-league players are in the Rising Stars game. Why isn’t Wembenyama?

That dude is probably encased in ice until after he gets that first #1 overall pick money contract.

Spilt T did you go to any All-Star activities?

I didn’t…have to work all weekend so not a lot of time unfortunately
Re: Around the League: Week 18 (2/13 - 2/19)
G league is affiliated with the NBA, but Wemby plays for a French team and has other professional obligations is my guess. They may play an exhibition game if the whole team is involved but probably won’t release him as an individual player to participate in other basketball activity halfway around the world.

Oh wow

I really don't track how refs call our games or who has certain reputations outside of the Scott Foster thing and CP3 as that was too big a story
Helluva thing to catch on mic lol
