I find myself agreeing with Wosny quite a bit when it comes to specific player evaluations, but he's not great at digging into the minutia of gameplan and scheme.

It might've been the live audience recording that inspired more extreme hot takes than usual in that episode. Or they could've just been boozing a bit and not thinking it through as carefully.

The Warriors are not as deep as they once were and they don't play the defense they played a year ago. Gary Payton II might be out the rest of the season with the abdominal injury. If Steph is red hot they have a chance, but he's injured right now and won't be reevaluated for another week.

Wos is a Ringer NBA regular. He's a bit of a loudmouthed moron. Sometimes interesting, but often just runs his mouth with crazy "takes." I think he's based out of the SF Bay Area, so he's a bit of a Warriors homer. So it doesn't surprise me that he says the Warriors would beat us.

He's useful in that sense, he represents of group of basketball viewers. If you take him on his own, it's pretty worthless. But if he's in panel, where you have stat/analytic nerd, next to a former player, next to a former exec, next to a beat reporter, then he brings a different vantage point.
