They shouldn't be concerns any more. He has had a large drop off this season and this is the new level we should expect. This is our new reality. Luckily, we're adding arguably the best player in basketball to the mix which should lessen the effects of his decline.
I have concerns for how he’ll fare against Marcus Smart or Jrue Holiday after a month’s worth of Western Conference battles (should we be so fortunate). He’s just a tier below where we need him to be.
Plus the fact that historically he has broken down in the playoffs. That ain't getting any better with age. I just don't think you can expect that tier you're looking for. It might not be available to him any longer.
...hence my concerns.

Watching him struggle to bring it up against Jevon Carter was disconcerting.
Pestering guards have always troubled him, Beverley, Alvarado and such, the same with Booker, specially if the referees allow them to bump and claw the handler. Every team has one of those "specialist" to bother the handler for some minutes, buy they rarely stay on the court for extended minutes.

The team have to develop schemes to counter those vermin players, and we have recently watched Okogie taking the ball up.
Bridges was helping a lot with that too before he was traded.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Alvarado, Carter, Beverly and Smart won't be bothering KEVIN DURANT.

Think he'd pass out of that quadruple team? Maybe Alvarado would smash heads with Beverly?

Ugh fuckin always

Thanks for sharing that video. I had forgotten that it was possible for a player to score without receiving a screen.

The Bucks were missing a better player than the Suns were. They are a very tough match-up for this roster, they are just so damn big and defend so well. If the Suns had a prime Paul I can see this being a better match-up, but old man Paul makes it tough because him and Ayton are lunch inside and out.
But we're almost down 3 players at this point with no KD, Bridges and CamJ. It'd be like Giannis being out but the Bucks also not having Ingles or Middleton today.
Except that the Suns aren't going to ever have those three players all at once, nor have they ever fielded a team with all three players. So you can either say the Suns were down two players (Cam, Bridges) or they were missing their best player (Durant).

Either way, I still don't think see how the Bucks playing without Giannis can be dismissed.

Ya and that’s when they had PJ Tucker…they don’t have anyone to guard him unless they want to put Giannis on him

I’ll say this, I just don’t know what the bucks would do against KD.
Have a better team.

Ross just seems to have no clue when we switching vs not
Some of is he’s still trying to figure our the system, the other part is cuz he sucks at defense
This is why coaches are full of it. They talk about not being able to find minutes for certain guys, or how a guy needs to learn the defensive scheme before he can see time; the ink wasn't even dry on Ross's contract and he was out there on the court leading the team in field goal attempts.
