Am I the only one who holds his breath every time KD drives to the basket? I hate seeing him take contact or fall awkwardly. I just want everybody 100% healthy so we can make a deep playoff run.
Every trip, fall, rough bump…. Yea it doesn’t help my anxiety lol

Now it's pretty clear why Cam Payne didn't play. There probably won't be another chance to experiment without consequence this season.
After all this time, I finally figured out why you have a pic of Pop and a Spurs' player.

When a guy goes down in the layup line, of course you're going to worry. I'm not religious but I'm praying that he makes it through the playoffs unscathed.

And when Booker runs full speed. I’m just waiting for him to grab that hammy.

Did anyone else catch the play where the ref handed CP the ball to inbound it, nobody on the team moved and Paul just shot it from the sideline? Al was calling the game at that point and was mid-conversation with KR and EJ, so he didn’t catch it, just called it as “CP misses it from the corner.”

So bizarre.

Solid stuff from the guys

Payne benching is very interesting to me as I wanted to comment about his role last game. I posted about KD with the 2nd unit and how it affects TJ and Ross FGA who had started thriving in the higher usage role
Payne is the other person I been watching because he's not really a point guard. Payne's value to us has always been being a spark of the bench, one of our few that could get into the paint n so on

When Payne can get a quick 6-8pts and be out there getting hype it lifts the crowd and team energy. Problem is sometimes that means he came down a couple times and nobody else touched the ball. So I want to see how he handles not going a 100miles per hour and realizing Hey, KD has to touch the ball the next "Three times down" or whatever

So again the fact Monty put Shamet out there who is the total opposite of Payne and gonna defer 98% of the time and happily spot up off the ball was interesting....

Yeah, I saw that. I think there was like 0.6 on the shot clock and the play was for Ayton to catch/tip at the rim, but he got hung up on a defender so Paul just let it go. Definitely a Chris Paul moment.

His defense is solid, but when he’s playing in bench units we need someone to score.

Is Landry all that much better than Pyramid Papi was? I see him making many mistakes on the court on both sides of the ball. Perhaps, I'm just overly critical, as I can be watching DA.

Pyramid Papi? Is that Kelly Oubre?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Tsunami Papi... 8-)

And Landry doesn't make nearly as many mistakes. He just misses a bunch of open shots.

I'd take Kelly in a heartbeat over Landry. I don't think it's close.

I think there's probably only one Suns fan who'd disagree, 'bazz.

True. Saucy's #1 pet peeve with players is when they think they're better than they are. He'd rather have a 3 that knows he's a 3, than a 7 who thinks he's a 10.
