If CP plays like he’s 36 again, we probably win the title this year even if Ayton doesn’t play to his full potential.

If the core four stay healthy, and we don't win the championship, there will be only one person to blame: Monty Williams. We already know the players will give it their best.

Monty is not the problem.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Welcome back, but no, the post seasons hinges on 2 things, health and Ayton showing up. Ayton has been coasting all year, and especially funky since KD came aboard, Monty won't be the reason they lose.
Love, Hurts.

I still don't understand why people don't expect Ayton to show up for the playoffs. He shows up when it matters most. For this season, look at his clutch time performances, including sealing a couple wins for us recently.

We question it because he did it one year. And then last year had too many questions. He was good but not great vs. the Pels. And then who knows in the Mavs series, was he sick, was the whole team sick? So we don’t really have some proven track record.JeremyG wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 5:45 pm

We're all hopeful, but pardon me for being skeptical after watching his effort fluctuate more than the stock market this season.

Yea, he's had a real odd season... but I'm really hopeful he's locked in for the playoffs. Would love to see him dominayton again!Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Tue Apr 11, 2023 7:00 pmWe're all hopeful, but pardon me for being skeptical after watching his effort fluctuate more than the stock market this season.
