Or maybe they don’t have a good medical staff? I also think kawhi has some serious degenerative issues and all this load management is to stretch his career out longer so he can make money. He seems content with his two rings and his legacy. I never get the feeling he’s a hooper like KD. But then who knows what the hell he’s thinking. Probably the least fun player to root for.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe his knees are similar to Brandon Roy and he’s being this cautious to try and keep it going.

Has this been posted here before? It sounds like Kawhi Leonard's sister was arrested in 2019 for killing an old woman, and she was just found guilty and given a life sentence? Oof. I wonder if that's affecting Kawhi's mindset or play right now.

Wow, I don't remember ever hearing about that. It happened right before he started his Clippers career.

Wow. For $1000.

I used to spend a lot of time at Pechanga playing poker. It was my old stomping grounds.

WTF? Your brother’s a zillionaire! If you really need $1000, surely there are easier ways to get it than killing somebody.

I've got to give Monty his due. He was ripped apart for messing with the starting rotation after the game 1 loss. Torrey Craig has been the arguable difference maker in this series. His defense, rebounding and surprising scoring with big momentum swinging shots has been huge. Okagie is a tremendous defender but Craig has been instrumental on both sides of the court.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Craig has for sure justified the faith with his play, but I’m still not sure it was the right move considering we’ve basically lost every first quarter this series.

Yet the national media will be spending hours talking about the lakers and brooks…. Just me, or anyone else hoping for a wcf suns vs. lakers? Nothin would give me greater joy than to be the team that sends them packing.

Idk it’s hard to square we’ve seen both have seem their worst and best. Craig i’d say, playing his best ball, also shows a little more veteran play. We haven’t had KD for long. It’s just how things are taking shape.

I was listening to Chris Haynes and Marc Stein’s podcast, and Chris Haynes said from he’s hearing Kawhi is basically out for rest of the series. Even if it went 7 games, Kawhi still wouldn’t be able to play most likely.

I no longer think it is crazy to compare him to Kobe.

Doesn't sound like Kawhi is super close to returning, but who knows.

They way teammates were saying how sad it was for Kawhi was pretty odd if it were just a bit of swelling.

Run like a Tesla battery? So we should expect him catch fire in one of these upcoming games? :P

I kid, I kid.
