Well I think the rumor had Brogdon coming too
All Things Ayton
Re: All Things Ayton
He’s injury prone too lol. But the point is Vogel needs a center, and Williams is not very reliable.

Re: All Things Ayton
All I am happy about is that the Suns won't trade Ayton unless they got a good offer. None of these pu pu platters that folks seem to mention here, please.
Re: All Things Ayton
I agree…would need to have a backup plan. Maybe that’s Jock
Re: All Things Ayton
Well I’ve heard 3 rumors and they all seem too good to be true:
Boston: Robert Williams, Malcolm Brogdon, and Payton Pritchard
Orlando: Wendell Carter Jr, Jonathan Isaac, and Bol Bol
Dallas: THJ, Josh Green, and #10
I’d do every single one of those without hesitation.

Re: All Things Ayton
This is where they come from:
“Orlando’s interest in Ayton is real, as a source told PHNX Sports they’ve offered a package of Carter, Jonathan Isaac and Bol Bol for his services. Such a deal would require the Suns to increase the guarantees, since only $7.6 million of Isaac’s $17.4 million salary is guaranteed, and Bol’s $2.2 million salary is fully non-guaranteed.”
“According to one source, the Dallas Mavericks have had a standing offer on the table for DA since the end of the season: Tim Hardaway Jr., Josh Green and the No. 10 overall pick in this year’s draft.”
Re: All Things Ayton
Very interested in WCJ even with some injury history. But he's a very good player and his deal declines over the years. The rest are meh. Dallas is intriguing because of Green and the pick.
Re: All Things Ayton
Gambo already shot down the Dallas rumor. He says they aren’t willing to include the #10 pick.

Re: All Things Ayton
Ya I don’t believe any of them…WCJ is better than Ayton. I trust Gambo, he’s been very accurate since Ishbia took over. The Boston one comes from some flex wannabe, so I don’t believe that either.
We’ll see what happens.

Re: All Things Ayton
Stats last year are honestly very similar. Ayton took a few more shots and scored a little more. He had a slightly higher rebound rate. Blocks and steals about the same. WCJ has a higher assist rate.
I like that WCJ can shoot 3’s and has a little more juice as a playmaker. He also costs 1/3rd the price. So give me that and I’ll take the extra assets on top of that.
Re: All Things Ayton
Ayton has much more talent and potential than WCJ. Monty wouldn’t let him shoot 3’s. And I wouldn’t call Isaac an “asset.”Split T wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 10:45 amStats last year are honestly very similar. Ayton took a few more shots and scored a little more. What about Bol Bol?

I still have a thing for Isaac even though he’s made out of paper and is a full blown [REDACTED FOR POLITICS].
His game would be such a good fit with the crew we’re assembling.

Ya, Isaac the player is great(in theory). The big problem is all you tend to get is Isaac the person. He plays less than Zion
