Like I doubt we had zero conversation at all about Harris. I’m sure we talked. It’s possible it was in a potential Chris Paul trade though and is old news.

Or it could be one-sided. Maybe Philly proposed the Harris for Ayton swap and we hung up the phone.

What would Philly do with Ayton?! Morey is a 3-ball guy and wants to stretch the floor all over the court. I don't think he would be the one to champion a return of the Twin Towers.

I kinda like Harris…but only way to get him is basically in a 1 for 1 trade with Ayton and that does nothing for our depth. He’s a big wing though that can shoot and is pretty low usage(which we need). But he’s also capable of doing things with the ball if you need him to step up. He’s also pretty dependable and plays most games.

I think if you could get Melton in the deal(for Payne), that’s enough for me to pull the trigger. Otherwise I’d look elsewhere for depth.

Gambo also said it was not real and we’re not interested.

Yeah, Harris is a good player; he is just massively overpaid. I would welcome him on our team, but as you allude to, he doesn't address any of our needs. Moreover, if his dad/agent hates how he is used in Philly, it's just going to be worse for him here. How many shots is he going to get after Booker, Beal, and Durant get theirs?
