Ishbia really is intent on fixing all the messes Sarver left behind within his first year. So happy to have these two properly honored.

Good for Ishbia. I have no idea why that pos Sarver couldn't do it, but...

Amare was my favorite player during the 7SOL years. I loved all those guys, but Amare was my guy. He was the reason I had season tickets. I didn't want to miss him do something that I've never seen before. I was lucky enough to be on a flight back to Phx from LA and was able to tell him that too. I just so happened to be on crutches because I had just had microfracture surgery myself a week prior.

I kind of loved Amare, Nash and Marion equally. I wish Amare would give Ayton a few pointers on how to score a bucket when you are near the basket. Then again Amare wasn’t known for his killer defense. Marion wasn’t known for his one on one post up moves either. They all did their own thing.

Good to see Matrix and Stat get in the Ring of Honor. Hopefully Nash isn't too far behind.

He seemed to be a great dude. I had a chance to talk to him for a couple minutes way back when he was the cover athlete for the Sony NBA game and Amare came in house for photos and to do the motion capture thing. He signed my McFarlane action figure floorboard.

I love this! Amare was my favorite from that era by far. Let’s hope he comes back in as a big man coach now. Please teach Ayton how to be a man!

A McFarlane action figure floorboard? Is that a thing?

It's the stand for the "action figure" to stand on... Probably an easier place to sign. Just don't call them "dolls"... people will lose their every loving minds. :P

Ok, I get it now. I was like “Who’s this McFarlane action figure guy and why put it on a car floorboard?” “And why would Amare want to sign some guy named McFarlane’s action figure car floorboard thing?”

Unfortunately, Amare's signature didn't stand the test of time. He wrote #1 as that is when he changed his number.

He was originally a comic book creator/artist who then got into action figures.

It's funny. Even though that group didn't make it to the Finals. I felt like they had just as much a shot of winning it all as our three Finals teams. They had the talent. Just couldn't quite get over the Spurs hump. Alas, Joe Johnson...

I think I kind of liked Amare too.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I saw Amare's 50-pt. game against Portland. He lit it up against Ratliff, Randolph, Abdur Rahim and Przybilla.
Awesome ...
