Ya if you have knowledge of the older guys it’s super helpful. Even bigger name players from the 80’s or before will get you good scores

Do you guys play from memory or do you research your answers? Today's has a Suns component.
I play by memory - but then I end up picking somebody like Don Chaney for the Celtics/Lakers player and Ricky Sobers for the Suns/Pacers player yesterday. My rarity score yesterday was 65, which is the lowest I've gotten, and I think it might be a total of the percentages for the players you choose.

I just wish the had an archive so you could play older ones that you missed out on.
Crazy that Westphal was only 2% yesterday and Havlicek 4%. How soon they forget.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I usually end up filling in mine with players from the 70s and 80s first because my brain tends to retain things from those seasons the most - Probably because I collected basketball cards back then and my brain has an easier time when there's a player photo attached.
I mistakenly thought that Tom Chambers had made an all NBA team today, at least as a member of the sonics.

I learned that the player had to make an all-nba team while with the team in question. I picked Horford for the Thunder and All-nba but I guess since he made all-nba with the Hawks it didn’t count

I didn't consider the Sonics when trying to match players for the Thunder today.

Are you allowed to use the same player twice?

I also chose James Jones yesterday but was surprised at the 1%.

I haven’t tried on this one, but on other grids you can’t use players more than once.

Ya I’ve been worried about that, don’t know if they count it…also how do they count all the Hornets/Pelicans/Bobcats stuff

They say that former team names count, but I got screwed the other day using a Charlotte Hornets player for the New Orleans Pelicans. So for Charlotte I guess it's Hornets/Bobcats/Hornets?
