The most promising thing I’ve seen from Ayton this summer was that clip of him in fiba play sprinting down the court in transition. I think him sprinting back and forth in transition would do wonders.

Agreed.

Yuta highlights...he does a good job attacking closeouts, moving north-south and making a play at the rim after being run off the line. Looks like he may have been limping after that last dunk, hopefully nothing serious

I just read that Aldridge piece. The Suns, who added Beal, Gordon and a host of productive players to a revamped bench didn’t have as good of an off-season as the Cavs, who added…. Max Strus?

Come on, you know Max Strus is going to tip the scales for Cleveland to win the title. It was probably the most significant off-season move in more than 2 decades.

Interesting list here of the ‘top 100’ in the NBA, from Matt Moore on actionnetwork.com based on a range of factors including ability to impact playoff games.
Booker and KD are ranked 7 and 8 and Beal 63. No other Suns mentioned.

I read that he had an ankle sprain like a week or two ago? Maybe just some lingering effects there.

Cool to see the team getting together informally early.

Relieved to see Ayton there because a small part of me is skeptical of him maintaining his fitness from the FIBA games. Also good to see Miles Simon as that indicates it's more than just getting in drill work.

Why were Ayton's knees bloody? (SFW responses only!)

Not bloody, that's a Suns logo on the ice bag/plastic wrapping. KD has the same thing.

No comment on Ayton’s knees but thoughts on his juicy rack?

By the way, I’m not sure teams are allowed to hold staffed, organized workouts for multiple players during the offseason. That’s why when the Suns social media team highlights who’s working out at the practice facility, they only show one player per day and that player is always the only one.

I think it’s why one person was walking out at a time. A little sneakiness. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some sort of reprimand from the league. The Suns will likely claim they had 5 concurrent individual workouts.

If I'm not mistaken, they even had some of the Suns training and some of the Suns coaching staff there. Was Book wearing the new uniform shorts to a pickup game session?

Good catch on the shorts…. Looks like the new one.
