2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
I’d probably have Yuta 4th on the list to start. I lean towards it being Okogie or KBD, but I could see them going Gordon if they just go all in on offense.

He's clearly a Beal fan like myself so I've enjoyed some of the ones he's posted this off-season. Gonna share this thread
I know some have admitted to not watching Wiz (can't blame 'em lol) and saying they have to get more familiar with his game but yeah nice stuff here
Remember how excited We were when Book started making a concerted effort to attack the paint because of the attention KD would get.

A significant reason Beal could convert a lot of those shots at the rim is because KP was pulling his own defender away from the rim. That's not really going to be the case if KD is the passer with Ayton on the floor. It would be ideal if Ayton could make those plays, but I don't think he has the intuition and skill to consistently do it.

Yeah I see what you're saying but there's also a scenario where many want to see a small ball lineup with KD at the 5 so still possible/practical for Mr. Kevin Young to put in such wrinkles
Beal off the ball movement is legit and ability to get in the paint is going really show imo
He's played well with Gafford also so not worried about him still getting downhill and to the rim with a rolling big / 5 down low

Other than Kobe's, which are back now, these are my next go- to basketball sneaker.
I'm hoping that's there's actual availability, unlike the Kobe's

I'm not in need of performance shoes yet as the pair of KD 13's I've had for a few years have held up great indoors, but my outdoor pair are starting to wear a bit thin so I'll probably rotate in a new indoor pair soon.
I've had my eye on the Sabrina Ionescu signature shoes that just dropped this month because they have very high performance reviews. I'm interested to see how Booker's compare when the technical specs become available.

I love the look of the shoe but as I’ve gotten to be an “old man” I’m way more about comfort than looks, and Books look like they could fit both.

Anyone hear any rumblings or have an idea of when the suns will do the ring of honor inductions for Marion and stoudemire? Two games I’d definitely love to attend this year.

Looks like a lot of that footage was captured recently when that guy filmed them leaving the gym at UCLA(?). Kinda funny how there's barely a glimpse of Ayton in the promo since he's a Puma guy. I even caught Bol in the background once, but he's always been with Nike.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2023 1:56 pmLatest preview from Book

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I'm not expecting the wild spending spree to continue indefinitely. He's set the team up with a (hopefully) a strong core for a next few years, but we'll likely start to see some obvious belt tightening before too long.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 11:37 amReport: Mat Ishbia pledged more than half of his company’s outstanding stock to buy Suns
