Good trade for Bucks.
Decent trade for Portland.
Questionable trade for Suns ... Nurkic is the type of center popular in the 80s and 90s NBA--aircraft carrier era.
Catastrophic trade for the Heat.

It’s all about perspective ;)

Fwiw, Suns Reddit is mostly not thrilled with this trade.

Wolf had a good point. This trade doesn't go down if Book doesn't sign off on it.

Suns Reddit is populated by a lot of people who don’t understand basketball. Most of them loved Kelly Oubre, for example.

Ayton sold them out two years in a row in the playoffs.

An underrated part of this deal is now the Suns don’t have to worry about getting a jump shooting 7-footer chances to score just to keep him playing hard.

Ayton sitting in game 6 was the equivalent of Kelly sitting out the bubble.

NGL Kelly Oubre is a pretty good litmus test for telling if someone has a clue about winning NBA basketball.

So fucking is underrated. Nurk or Eubanks depending on Nurks health will always play hard and do the big man work Ayton didn't wanna do when he wasn't getting his touches.

This is insane. Kelly was medically cleared to play. Ayton had trouble breathing from bruised ribs, which are no joke.

Thing is, we know Little can play. Camara is still a question mark at this level, tho I was cautiously optimistic about him. He and Little would've been redundant.

For the Bucks, they take a step back defensively as Jrue was a big time perimeter defender. Dame is lightyears ahead in terms of offense, so it'll be interesting to see that trade-off. If we see them in the Finals, it won't be Jrue hounding Book which is a plus IMO.
For the people complaining about seeing the Bucks in the Finals, I'd love to see them in the Finals again. I'd love to see ANYBODY in the Finals.

Football players play with bruised ribs all the time and that's a lot more contact the basketball... It's a joke when you're a pivotal part of a team and can't push yourself for your teammates. I wouldn't be surprised when it comes out some day from KD or Book that this was the moment they were DONE with his pussy ass. He couldn't even suit up to go 10-12 minutes to show he cared. Stop defending this bullshit.

This deal isn’t league official official, right? Cuz my gut is telling me we are gonna reroute Allen somewhere. Allen and a 2nd for TJ McConnell works. 🤔

Any other interesting players in Allen’s price range?

Ayton was never our championship or bust piece though. It’s not up to him. It’ll be up to Book/KD/Beal
That’s not what y’all were saying two months ago.
I think you misinterpret a lot of what I say. Maybe I say it poorly. Certainly Ayton had the power to thwart our championship, but he was never gonna win us one.
Thwart us by playing poorly…like at the level of a Jusuf Nurkic?
Thwart us by quitting on the team again…I’m done discussing Ayton though. He’s gone and I think it’s for the best.

Ok guys...after months and months of meditation and contemplation, I'm FINALLY ready to accept the Myles Turner and Buddy Hield for Ayton offer! Push the button. Pull the trigger. Call it in. Do whatever you have to do but let's go!!!!
