We’d only be interested in Lowry if he got bought out
Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
Yea so about that Lowry stuff...
Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
Do any of you think Miami might target Harden after striking out on Beal and now Lillard? It goes without saying Harden has not been happy in Philly all summer. That’s going to create quite a toxic environment for them if they don’t trade him away.
Re: 2023 Suns General Offseason/PostSeason News Thread
I thought about it, but Harden might be the worst possible fit for “Heat Culture.” Not sure he’s good enough anymore for them to consider dropping their standards on player conduct, work ethic.
Dame really was perfect for them. They should have made a real offer and not tried to steal him by having Dame refuse to go elsewhere. You telling me Herro/Jovic and 3 1sts isn’t better than Jrue and 1 1st?

I think I saw a report that the Heat weren't interested in Harden.

Kyle Lowry is cooked. I guess he could be a little useful for 15mpg in the regular season, but he'd be unplayable in the playoffs.

Harden really doesn’t fit the Heat culture whatsoever. Miami just has not had a successful offseason. I was thinking desperation might strike after witnessing a rival swoop in and land the player they have coveted the last few months (admittedly, that doesn’t really describe the personality of Pat Riley). I could see Jrue Holiday being a player they target. I’ll be curious to see where he lands.

I think it’s going to be Harden to Clips, Jrue to Philly and a couple of picks and clips collection of expiring contracts to Portland.

Harden doesn't fit the culture of any serious team except maybe the Clippers and they're a bit unserious with how they load managed their players.SunsShine wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 3:46 pmHarden really doesn’t fit the Heat culture whatsoever. That trade makes a ton of sense for all parties involved. Harden to Clippers has been a topic of discussion for a while. Swapping him for Jrue would be such a massive improvement for Philly defensively. I am quite the fan of Holiday and his two-way game, so I pray he goes back east and does not join a team like the Lakers or something lol.MightyMoog wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 3:49 pmI think it’s going to be Harden to Clips, Jrue to Philly and a couple of picks and clips collection of expiring contracts to Portland.

I'm sure the Globetrotters would take him.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 3:52 pmHarden doesn't fit the culture of any serious team except maybe the Clippers and they're a bit unserious with how they load managed their players.SunsShine wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 3:46 pmHarden really doesn’t fit the Heat culture whatsoever. That’s a good thought actually…Portland is a good third team to make that Harden stuff work. I like that better too because Jrue in LA scares me more than Harden.MightyMoog wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 3:49 pmI think it’s going to be Harden to Clips, Jrue to Philly and a couple of picks and clips collection of expiring contracts to Portland.
