DONALD TRUMP INDICTED
Re: DONALD TRUMP INDICTED
Lindell didn’t seem to be having very much fun being interrogated. I hope him dedicating his life to Trump was worth it for him?

Re: DONALD TRUMP INDICTED
Trump seems to enjoy openly confessing to this particular crime. That tactic can work well in the court of public opinion, but it may harm him in the actual trial.

Trump tweeted, "Crooked Hillary Clinton and her team 'were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information.' Not fit!"
Aug. 16, 2016:
At a campaign event in West Bend, Wisconsin, Trump said, "We've seen a former secretary of state lie to Congress about her illegal email scheme, risk innocent American lives and bring dishonor onto our government, great, great dishonor."
"In my administration, I'm going to enforce all laws concerning the protection of classified information," he went on.
Aug. 18, 2016:
At a campaign event in Charlotte, North Carolina, Trump said, "On political corruption, we are going to restore honor to our government. In my administration, I'm going to enforce all laws concerning the protection of classified information. No one will be above the law."
Sept. 7, 2016:

Trump tweeted, "Wikileaks proves even the Clinton campaign knew Crooked, mishandled classified info, but no one gets charged? RIGGED!"

Special counsel asks for 'narrow' gag order for Trump in election interference case
Jack Smith's office says Trump's "disparaging and inflammatory attacks" have spurred threats against witnesses and threaten the court process.
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/rcna105365
"Like his previous public disinformation campaign regarding the 2020 presidential election, the defendant’s recent extrajudicial statements are intended to undermine public confidence in an institution—the judicial system—and to undermine confidence in and intimidate individuals—the Court, the jury pool, witnesses, and prosecutors," the prosecutors wrote.

He's sharing the home address of the judges in his cases. He obviously wants to intimidate them or cause harm to them. This has to be a violation of his gag order.

Sidney Powell pleads guilty in case over efforts to overturn Trump’s Georgia loss and gets probation
https://apnews.com/article/sidney-powel ... 544028e9f5
ATLANTA (AP) — Lawyer Sidney Powell pleaded guilty to reduced charges Thursday over efforts to overturn Donald Trump’s loss in the 2020 election in Georgia, becoming the second defendant in the sprawling case to reach a deal with prosecutors.
As part of the deal, she will serve six years of probation, will be fined $6,000 and will have to write an apology letter to Georgia and its residents. She also agreed to testify truthfully against her co-defendants at future trials.
Steve Sadow, the lead attorney for Trump in the Georgia case, expressed confidence after Powell’s plea. “Assuming truthful testimony in the Fulton County case, it will be favorable to my overall defense strategy,” he said.
I seriously doubt it will be favorable to Trumps defense. I predict a 99.999999999% chance Trump and his attorneys will claim she is lying. I expect Trump to start calling her deranged and a liar on social media within the day.

Re: DONALD TRUMP INDICTED
This is a "flip" sentence. They're giving her a slap on the wrist in exchange for her testifying in the future against Trump. If she doesn't do that, it may nullify the agreement and get her in more trouble.
Re: DONALD TRUMP INDICTED
Another defendant, Kenneth Chesebro, pleads guilty in exchange for a reduced sentence and cooperation. In other words, he has flipped, just like Sydney Powell. This could be big trouble for Trump. That's how you win these cases: you get the underlings to flip and testify against the boss.
Re: DONALD TRUMP INDICTED
The little fish are turning on the big fish to save themselves. I can’t wait to see Trumps posts about them. He never seems to run out of clever insults. He has had a lifetime practicing insulting people and screwing them over. Karma is now biting him in the ass. I’m not even happy about it. I just want him gone so he can stop poisoning our country.

Re: DONALD TRUMP INDICTED
I was expecting a Kenneth Chesebro plea deal to happen also. I think the prosecution wanted to get it done with those two especially, since their trials had been separated from Trump’s and were set to begin next week. The prosecution didn’t want to have to conduct two almost identical trials, or show their hand before Trump’s trial.
But Trump should have expected his co-defendants to turn on him when he wouldn’t even help them with their legal bills.
