If you want to believe Flex, Book is a go tonight
If Book is playing, then tonight is a Bol Bol kind of night.

Didn’t he originally say November 8th?

Yes. A few days ago his projection was that Booker would return sometime next week.

Yeah, a couple days ago he said November 8th, then yesterday he gave an update saying he looks like he’s ahead of schedule and that today or Saturday is a real possibility. Now he saying it’s for sure today.

My tinfoil hat theory is that Booker want to be completely ready for the tournament games, but that changed after the previous loss.

My theory is that the ankle is doing better.

Is that good for his sprained ankle?

Got my Book injuries mixed up. Young season and we’ve already had two.

I think the silver lining in all this is that without Beal and Book, Vogel has to develop his bench more than if Beal and Book were playing and early on could be a good thing for the development of the team.

That's next. ;) And if it is next, I'm blaming Cap.

The NBA world is all about Wemby. Today's NBA TV description of the game:
The VW bus stays put as the Spurs and Suns complete a two-game series in Phoenix. San Antonio rookie Victor Wembanyama, the 7-foot-4 phenom from France, has already turned heads. The 19-year-old was drafted first overall by San Antonio in June.

He hasn't really reached too deep tho these first few games. It's been EG and Allen for the most part, who we knew would get minutes. Goodwin and Little have really been the biggest beneficiaries but once Book and Beal get back, all 4 of those guys will see their minutes/roles reduced. It's not like we've seen KBD or Metu as part of the rotation during this stretch. Little may be the least affected by Book and Beal returning if he's got that swing forward role locked up.

Booker is 27 points away from KJ at #3 on the Suns' scoring list. Still a couple years or so away from Walter Davis at #1.
