C’mon you guys know that’s not what Sauce is saying…he’s saying the Dems know their peers are doing shady stuff and don’t care unless it becomes public…Better than the other side not caring even if it is public, but if they really are just keeping quiet while they know their peers are corrupt, are they really any better?

It’s not like they advertise when they do some under the table deal or send out a flyer. Just saying all Dem politicians are crooked and that all the Dem politicians should have claimed all the other Dems were crooked and tried to get them in trouble if they were real Americans is pretty ridiculous.

Total fallacy. Dems are controlled by the rich too, their pockets are lined with their money from lobbyists. They are just politically correct republicans these days, equally as corrupt under the layer of fake giving a shit.
Granted, he didn’t use the word “all,” but there also doesn’t seem to be an implicit “some” or “few.” He’s condemning Dems in general.

I would certainly take it as at least “most.” If he really thinks it’s just a minority of Dems, saying “Dems are corrupt” without that qualification is pretty disgusting.

I think there is a sizeable chunk of politicians that are corrupt on both sides. Sure there are degrees to it. The higher up they go, the worse they are.

There’s no doubt the Clintons are corrupt.

Bidens are corrupt.

McConnell. Graham. All these assholes are controlled by their donors and have their motives. None of them have original thought or truly good intentions.

If you take a position just to tow a party line, you’re corrupt. You’re no longer a person with original, unbiased thought

Unfortunately, these are the people running (ruining?) our country. Often, it’s a matter of choosing the lesser evil.

Both sides aren’t the same. Maybe there is corruption on both sides but the two sides clearly fight for different things. Many thought Obamacare was stupid. I didn’t. Republicans sabotaged it and neutered it as much as possible. Republicans fight to lower taxes on the rich and not pay food stamps for poor people. Those are the differences I see. One side helps rich people. One side helps poor people. Neither side cares about the debt other than lip service at the appropriate time.

Biden’s green deal builds a lot of infrastructure I agree with. Is some of it siphoned off when some contractor pays of a politician to help it get awarded a project? It’s possible I guess. I have seen plenty of Republicans who voted against the deal trying to take credit for the money being spent in their states. The projects are still built and is a net plus for what they were trying to accomplish.

Democracy is a fragile thing. It is only as good as the people running it. Our current crop of politicians have some pretty bad apples in it. The Dems have a few fringe characters. The Republicans have completely bowed down to Trump and are more than willing to do or say whatever Trump tells them to do or say or risk being tarred and feathered and cast off the island permanently. Ending Democracy and allowing Trump to go on a revenge tour is a lot different than the Dems woke stuff, which can be annoying to some but not worth ending the country like the Cons seem to be for.

Only one side is calling for a Final Solution to the “vermin” who constitute the majority of the country.

And let’s not pretend that “FINISH THE JOB ONCE AND FOR ALL!” isn’t a deliberate invocation of “Final Solution.”

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid, fellas.

Love, a fellow Democrat (only because I vote based on social positions- if a fiscally conservative socially liberal candidate was a serious contender who didn’t just follow a party line to fatten his wallet and his buddies wallets he would get my vote in a second) I voted for Obama x2 Clinton and Biden, but I’m not proud of it

Look at our debt. Look at how much bullshit money in “aid” democrats send to ally nations. Instead of taking care of the poor and uninsured they supposedly care about. Take the billions of aid sent to Ukraine and give it to our healthcare system. Boom, no more uninsured. Or give it to the education system. Boom, no more student loan debt. Or give it to the homeless- Boom, no more homelessness.

But no, dems selectively vouch for aid for countries they have a vested interest in financially.

I don’t see anyone crying for Sudan which is basically blown to smitherines. Nobody helped the Iranian people as they tried to fight back against the morality police. Because these aren’t sexy profile pics to support on Facebook and don’t serve to line the wallets of Washington’s interests

Dude. Foreign aid is less than 1% of the budget.

Since the war began, the Biden administration and the U.S. Congress have directed more than $75 billion in assistance to Ukraine, which includes humanitarian, financial, and military support, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, a German research institute

The CBO estimated that of the $2.4 trillion long-term price tag for the war, about $1.9 trillion of that would be spent on Iraq, or $6,300 per US citizen.

So add 2.4 trillion dollars from an Iraq war that was completely unnecessary and only served to line the pockets of good ol Dick and his company

Some Dems are corrupt, and some Dem policies and decisions have been bad. But the Republicans share both of those qualities, AND they openly want to turn the USA into a fascist bigoted dictatorship. Soo ... not equal?
