Yeah I think he’ll see limited minutes in the playoffs. They really need Beal back to see what they have in terms of rotation. Little isn’t quite as good defensively but he does get deflections and can get going offensively.

It sucks losing like that and then having to wait 3 days to play again and then against the Kings who may very well beat us, especially the way we’ve been playing of late. Can we just have one game of a full 48 minutes of effort?

Would be nice…. These half cocked efforts and sloppy play show we have a lot of work to do. I don’t think there’s any magical trade that can fix this and trying to have patience. It’s a whole new coaching staff and only 2 players held over from last season.. then throw in the rotating injuries to our key players. it’s not going to click on day one or day 100 for this team until we have our key assets 100% together for a period of time.

Also seeing how we’ve player with and without Beal, I just don’t know what hes going to bring. We need physicality….Is there any big PF in this league attainable for Beal? I know his no trade clause makes it hard but that’s what we need. Need a real banger.

Beal's not going anywhere but it does feel like we need more size up front. Still too early for trade convos. I don't think we need a star and we don't have a ton of assets outside of Allen and Little, who come to about $13 mil combined. I think maybe Allen could be seen as expendable. Little's the kind of young, athletic wing locked in on a good deal who's worth keeping around IMO. And Allen's only expendable if Beal and EG get/stay heathy and play up to expectations.

I don’t think we are trading anyone…our trade exceptions are probably the only avenue to acquire salary.

I’d be shocked if we moved Grayson…Little would surprise me as he’s the kind of cost controlled playable wing we need to keep to fill out our roster, but might be a little more expendable this year. Still he doesn’t make much more than our trade exceptions. You could combine him with a minimum salary guy though and get close to 10 million.

Here’s an interesting name…Nick Richards

7’0 245, 26 years old, 5 million in 23-24, 24-25, and 25-26.

Plays 17 minutes a game…his per-36 averages are 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Shooting 73% from the field.

We probably don’t have what it takes to get him, but he is behind Mark Williams in Charlotte. The more I’m looking into him the more I’m realizing he’s probably not gettable…definitely not for our TPE plus 2nd rounders. Would probably have to be a Little trade.

Brings me to another thought…I know he might be going through some mental health issues, but if Kai Jones gets the help he needs, he’d be interesting. Better than Bol Bol for sure and he’s 2-way eligible. If he’s healthy he could definitely help us.
