I’m ready for it, everyone seems mixed on it but idc. Let’s roll with Booker’s boy Kevin Young. He wanted him be coach. Fuck it. Ride and die time.

This just doesn't look like a team that's going to improve with time. Being a PG is clearly taking away from Books game overall. Beal hasn't been much of a offensive threat. And no one seems to care on D for very long. Really need a PG and a new plan.

Gave us good momentum going into the 4th that we capitalized on.

Actually, he was out tonight with an injury.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2024 10:23 pmHe was great then vanished. Thanks coach.3TheHardaway wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2024 10:22 pmAlso, did Udoka die? I thought he was pretty decent in limited minutes. His size would at least get in the way of Zubac.

Booker 0 rebounds, steals or blocks. 6 turnovers.
That just ain’t going to cut it.

At this point can we have a do over and just go back to what we had half way through last season? I’d rather watch that all year and then flame out in the playoffs. This team is going to play like crap and not even make the playoffs. The Bobster wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2024 10:53 pmMaybethe worst defensive "effort" of the season.
Time to consider tinkering with the roster.

Time to consider accepting that there are no easy fixes and this is going to be a bad team for a very long time. The Bobster wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2024 10:53 pmMaybethe worst defensive "effort" of the season.

Yeah, we might as well all settle in for a lousy few years. I picked the wrong season to stop sniffing glue.Cap wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2024 11:02 pmTime to consider accepting that there are no easy fixes and this is going to be a bad team for a very long time. The Bobster wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2024 10:53 pmMaybethe worst defensive "effort" of the season.

Seems like the national pundits and NBA tweeters are giving up on us.

I don’t know what Vogel is thinking with these KD-and-4-guards lineups. They never work, especially against big teams. The crazy thing is, of course we didn’t get stops or rebounds, but our offense was still iso-ball leading to mid-range contested jumpers. Doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose of going 5 out?
But then the KBD at C/Okogie at PF lineup was among the worst lineup decisions I’ve ever seen.

I finally got the nerve to watch the final five minutes after Vogel gave up and brought the scrubs in. Why? I’m not sure but even the Clippers scrubs played a much better brand of basketball than our scrubs. There was no offensive flow with our guys. Just felt like pick up basketball. I think I am done with Vogel. He’s not half the coach I thought he was. Williams was much better.Shabazz wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2024 12:05 amI don’t know what Vogel is thinking with these KD-and-4-guards lineups. They never work, especially against big teams. Ishbia, I think you might have to eat this contract and try something else. This isn’t working. The only problem is who? Is there anybody available that’s any better? I guess just try Young. Maybe his voice isn’t being heard.

Young may be a very good coach in the making - or not, I really have no clue. But handing a first-time coach this team is setting them up to fail imoSuperbone wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2024 12:17 amI finally got the nerve to watch the final five minutes after Vogel gave up and brought the scrubs in. I don’t have a great alternative either, and it does kinda feel like change is becoming inevitable. At the very least we need a coach who can get the team to play consistently hard and not make stupid rookie mistakes. Is that too much to ask????
Re: Game Day: Suns (19-17) @ Clippers (22-13), Mon 1/8/24
Cardinals give me more hope than this team. What a huge disappointment. Vogel needs to be canned, this team plays the most uninspiring offense I’ve ever seen.
Re: Game Day: Suns (19-17) @ Clippers (22-13), Mon 1/8/24
Bring on Doc Rivers…something needs to happen…this team isn’t winning a playoff round.
Re: Game Day: Suns (19-17) @ Clippers (22-13), Mon 1/8/24
This team stinks. They aren't fun to watch, and have sucked the joy out of watching basketball. They have turned Book into a player that doesn't play like Book anymore. It's sad, tbh.

Who says we need a PG? We have Point Book and Beal! Put a fork in em.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

It kind of reminds me of when the Suns hired Terry Porter and tried to change their whole identity. Those Suns weren't fun to watch either.
