No, it doesn't negate it because what posted before was pertaining to analyzing the on/off difference, and what I posted after that has to do with just the first set of data. And I'm not arguing that it doesn't matter who plays power forward nor am I contending that Markieff does not have any positive impact.

Outside of Markieff, the Suns don't have a legitimate power forward. That has nothing to do with Markieff's innate ability.

I suggested this awhile ago but what about this?

IT3 and Plumlee for David West?

Gives us more veteran leadership and allows us to play Dragic and Bledsoe like we did last year.

The Goran-Pacers connection has been going since the summer so no surprise there are still scenarios being thrown out. I tend to think where there's smoke there's fire. Not saying a deal is imminent but the teams are talking. It could be as simple as the Pacers having an eye for Goran and calling the suns as a follow up and us saying no.

If they want to throw Paul George our way, I'm all ears. Otherwise, there's not much on the Pacers that excites me.

I like Isaiah Thomas and Miles Plumlee for Jason Terry, Nick Johnson, and Clint Capela. The Suns would have to create a roster spot though.

He should bounce back from that. I'd be much more concerned if it was a knee, achilles, or back.

...and while other mediocre squads tank, the Suns just sign more point guards.
Ha!
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I'm in general a half-full-glass guy, when it comes to support the Suns, but I can't see all the good thing this guy is talking about

"...With P.J. Tucker, the Morris twins, Wright, and Alex Len, we’re seeing a tougher, meaner version of the Suns. It’s like D’Antoni’s team remixed with a little bit of the Barkley Suns. And the offense is still great too...."

eeeeeh, NO it is not.

I think people see that we are still a great fast-break team, have the 2nd fastest pace in the game, score a ton of points, and think we have a great offense.

I think we see that we are one of the worst teams in the league in assisted baskets, despite being the land of PGs, and realize something is wrong.

Yeah, maybe this guy has seen us in our very best, and in those days, is easy to jump into the bandwagon. But even in our best, I see a flawed, unbalanced team, with too many guys hogging the ball.

Agreed. This teams ball movement is awful, especially in the half court where its almost non-existant.

I completely disagree. The ball moves quite a bit. We start with it on the left wing by Goran or Eric, who then throws it out front to Alex, then gives it back after holding it a couple seconds. Then guard runs around a little and either throws the ball towards a spot he hopes someone is occupying, or takes a contested shot. The ball is moving the whole time.

I think the problem is that Len or Plumlee or Wright in that high post scares no one. Having Frye was a different dynamic, it created space to drive to the basket since Frye was a threat to knock down the long jumper. Either Green or IT has got to go. Ideally we need to find a way to pry Faried from Denver. That's the type of tough muscle we need down low on defense.

LOL, Indy.
But, sadly, true.
It's activity mistaken for achievement.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Suns are currently 28-22. A year ago at this time after 50 games the Suns were 30-20, 2 games better.

They got to get things in gear. Suns lost to the Grizz cause of missed freethrows (esp.in the first half) and of course late game execution. It's going to be harder making the playoffs this year than last with the Thunder and the Pelicans on their heels.

i predicted this team will win 6 games less than last season.

I'd be all for Paul George. A broken bone is nothing like a ligament injury.

I want nothing to do with Hibbert, it's been widely known he's on the block for over a year now. Guy just doesn't have the heart.

I think overall the most encouraging thing to take from that article is our age vs that of the west.

When Simmons mentions (Bledsoe - Morii - Len - IT) then(Randolph - CP3 - Duncan - Parker - Nowitzki, etc), it really allows me to believe if we keep improving and see some decline from some other teams, we can be in the mix/middle of conf for years to come.
