Trump 2024
Re: Trump 2024
This is just a random isolated clip. I don't think it indicates any serious cognitive problem with Trump. But people see clips just like this of Biden and say he has dementia and is too old and unwell. I think if you watch Trump you see little senior moments like this, too. They are both old candidates and both are past their cognitive prime.
Re: Trump 2024
It looks more like his teleprompter quit working and he panicked and had to start ad-libbing lol.

Re: Trump 2024
Yeah, that's not a senior moment. I'm not sure what wasn't understood about this or how it was seen as a senior moment.

Re: Trump 2024
This guy is openly saying that he thinks he should be allowed to do literally anything and should never be able to be held accountable or liable for any of it. He wants to be given absolute power.
Re: Trump 2024
I don't think that's what he's saying. It's like saying that Biden should be held responsible for droning that family in Afghanistan. Or Obama for droning and bombing civilians every 20 minutes of his presidency. Should they be dragged out of their homes and be tried for each?

Re: Trump 2024
I've heard this a few times on this site. "No one is above the law" right?

Re: Trump 2024
This logic is dumb. Presidents don't get locked up for standard actions they perform as POTUS or as Commander in Chief. They get locked up if they literally try to overthrow American democracy, overturn elections, if they commit massive fraud or accept bribes, other openly illegal and corrupt things. Nobody is trying to go throw W Bush in jail for his bogus invasion of Iraq, or jail Obama for some military strike, or whatever nonsense you're citing here.
Re: Trump 2024
No, that's the logic you are using and the precedent that you want set. We know that's the precedent, because by your own posts, where you claimed that he wanted to kill a political rival or oppenent from a stupid hypothetical question by the judge to his lawyer and you pushed it. You only want it to apply to Trump and whatever you think he did. His job was to look into reports of interference in the election, and he was doing that. He didn't try to "overthrow American democracy, overturn elections" like you guys are so fond of falsely saying. So silly.

I blame the banks for trying to debank our political beliefs. I say we debank them first and electric cars.

Re: Trump 2024
He should have been held to account on it in 2011. The problem is that even the “opposition party” (GOP) was on his side because “war on terror = good, Constitution be damned”—so there was no one to hold him accountable, except Ron Paul.

More from the same article.
Two U.S. officials speaking on condition of anonymity stated that the target of the October 14, 2011, airstrike was Ibrahim al-Banna, an Egyptian believed to be a senior operative in al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.[8] Another U.S. administration official speaking on condition of anonymity described Abdulrahman al-Awlaki as a bystander who was "in the wrong place at the wrong time", stating that "the U.S. government did not know that Mr. Awlaki's son was there" before the airstrike was ordered.
It was an ordered hit on an Al Qaeda leader. It wasn’t a targeted assassination of a 16 year old kid. I’m s it legal? A President can assassinate his own rival and not be liable. Certainly he can kill a terrorist leader. It was done on another country’s soil. Is that legal or ethical? Trump got Iraq to invite the military leader of Iran to Iraq for a meeting and drone striked his ass as soon as he landed at the airport. Israel has been targeting Hamas in Gaza and has killed 20,000 civilians.
Is this some big Obama scandal? This is just people talking.

Re: Trump 2024
I'm do not disagree with you on those failures of the past. The GOP wasn't so grand then, nor are they now.

Re: Trump 2024
Oh, because he was considered a terrorist leader, it's ok to kill an American citizen in colateral damage, as long as you claim you didn't know they were there? Ok.Nodack wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2024 11:53 amMore from the same article.

Is it some big Obama scandal? Probably not, just people talking. Just like that he killed more innocent civilians through bombings and drone strikes that than any President before. Or that he had a bomb dropped or drone strike on foreign soil every 20 minutes of his entire 2 terms.
Are their other big Obama scandals that could be brought up? Sure.

ROFL. It's clear that all he is concerned about are the indictments against him. Also: his skin looks either over tanned or over made up, and his hair looks like Wolverine.

Re: Trump 2024
Another Trump senior moment. He thinks Nikki Haley was in charge of security on 1/6. (He means to attack Nancy Pelosi here.) This is not a teleprompter problem.
