Yeah. He’s not a great defender, but I like how he competes and id have so much more confidence with him shooting these open 3s than the back half of our bench.

He’s also about to enter RFA and I don’t think Atlanta wants to have to pay him with all of their other wings.

He’s good but ya I don’t think we can get him. Not the shooter Grayson is, but he’s a solid shooter and is a great defender…that’s something we are greatly lacking. He’s also young and on a great contract. Pels must just be a cheap franchise if they can’t afford him.

I -love- Herb Jones. But I don't think we can give up Grayson Allen for him, especially if the Pels explicitly are trying to manage money; Allen will be due a big payday after this season, so that isn't really the type of asset the Pels want back for Jones. They likely want 1st rounders and guys on rookie contracts and other such assets that we simply don't have. It's too bad because he would be SO good here.

Chris Boucher is available. Could be an interesting fit. Not a great shooter, but career 33% isnt’t Okogie bad. Would give us an athletic big with length to disrupt. Could be useful in spurts against the big wings/4s who have feasted on us so far this year.

Nas+2 minimum guys (Yuta, KBD, Ewbanks, take your pick) gets you matching salary.

Boucher reminds me of Christian Wood, just unfathomable confidence on offense and mostly useless on defense unless you want weakside shot blocking. Basically Bol Bol.
