Game Day: Suns (25-18) @ Mavericks (24-19), Wed 1/24/24

Honestly this is the very best outcome we could ask for. We go down big but dig our way out of it and now are up in dominant fashion, showing that we should never put our heads down against this team. AND, Book specifically is assassinating Luka and the Mavs. He needs a game like this vs Luka and Dallas.

A bit too smiley right now. Still a long 12 minutes to play and that SOB for Dallas can turn a game in 2 possessions.

That was 43-14 in the quarter before those last two 3s…we went from losing at the half to up 22 starting the 4th(was 28 with 40 seconds to go in the 3rd).

Ya it looked like the Mavs would just roll over but Kidd called two b2b timeouts…he doesn’t want to roll over. Need to come out strong and finish this.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 8:37 pmA bit too smiley right now. Just can’t let up…. Don’t need Luka or some no name catching fire.

Glad refs finally got tired of the Dallas players kvetching, and handed out some technicals.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

The Spurs were worse, because with the exception of Bowen and Horry, they almost forced you to respect them.

Just crazy stuff.Split T wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 8:35 pmWe literally won like 11 straight over Luka and then that 2022 playoffs happened.Wally_West wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 8:26 pmAt least they were champions. I don’t get what went wrong with this Mavs shit. I’ll have PTSD from it for a long time.
I was zero percent worried about them! We blow them out in the first two, I was already making plans with family and friends to go to a WCF game in Phoenix. Even when they tied the series I wasnt even that worried, just thought it was flukey shit.

Then why didn’t we get a FT on the second delay before the jump ball?

I’d probably give Book a short rest here then bring him back in.
