I don’t know, perhaps I’m just remembering ASG MVP voting occurring during the 4th quarter.

It was a shame. They were ahead for three quarters but you knew it was inevitable that the Nuggets would pull ahead in the 4th.specialsauce wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 7:28 amHe did it folks! In their 50th game, mr max has finally lead the team in scoring for a game. 27/11 in an L against the Joker

Situational awareness is not his strong suit.

We could probably drop the “situational” part from that statement.

Also awareness of how he sounds, awareness of what he’s putting into his body, awareness of how to get to the arena on time…Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 3:41 pmWe could probably drop the “situational” part from that statement.

Re: All Things Ayton
In fairness, DA did put up good numbers in that game, and Portland seemed headed for a possible upset through the first 3 quarters before Jokic and the Nuggets came roaring back. It wasn't a bad overall game for DA despite that one lowlight play.
Re: All Things Ayton
And of course this play doesn’t get posted:
Joker doesn’t even bother getting back on defense.

Ayton has always been a high percentage mid range shooter. I’ll give him that. Probably his best quality.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 11:26 pmBest mid-range shooters in the NBA this season (min. 2 FGA/G):

He's also got a really good touch around the rim and solid defensive footwork. Just no motor to get better.Superbone wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2024 11:40 pmAyton has always been a high percentage mid range shooter. I’ll give him that.
