Are you guys saying these are smaller than normal Nikes? I'm worried now.In2ition wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 4:23 pmThe new Book 1s are really nice and clean, lots of cool details. I bought my true size, but needed to buy a half size larger. So, my middle son now has a new pair of Book 1s. He's super stoked, but feels guilty about it. I'm good, I'll just try to get the next ones.

Modern performance basketball shoes generally run a bit tighter than casual sneakers so I almost always go up a half size when buying them. I did the same for the Book 1 after reading and watching the reviews.

I found I needed to go whole size up. They’re very cushioned, especially around the ankles. How he sprained his ankle I do not know, my ankles barely move inside the shoe.

Sorry they didn’t fit…a little snug on me but they’ll work. I have narrow feet so I think that helpsIn2ition wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 4:23 pmThe new Book 1s are really nice and clean, lots of cool details. Alright, I'll hope for the best. I used to wear 10.5 but moved up to 11 in my later years. All my other Nike 11s fit me great so we'll see.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 4:36 pmModern performance basketball shoes generally run a bit tighter than casual sneakers so I almost always go up a half size when buying them. It's all good. My loss is my son's gain, so I'm good with that. I can wait and get a pair later. If I wanted to suffer for a couple weeks, they would probably break in, but not looking to do that.Split T wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 4:56 pmSorry they didn’t fit…a little snug on me but they’ll work. Tbh, I haven't worn Nikes in a number of years. I have been loving my Adidas Ultraboosts, so I've stuck with those. In those, I wear an 11. I'm not looking to wear them on the court, so casual would be more comfortable with at least a half size larger, imo.Superbone wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 4:25 pmAre you guys saying these are smaller than normal Nikes? I'm also on the Ultraboost train. Weird.

Ultraboost is like wearing super comfy slippers all day. Best shoes I've worn in my life. Been wearing them for at least 5 years now.

I like Ultraboost but have found they loose their cushion fairly quickly and become like other ordinary runners. I prefer New Balance for everyday casual wear.

My complaint is that the soles/bottom tread wear out too quickly, imo.

Did you steal my feet? My sizing is exactly the same. I’m wearing 11s now and got the Books in 11. They feel comfy.Superbone wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2024 4:57 pmAlright, I'll hope for the best. About 3 miles per day.
