I don't think anyone has any REAL information yet, except that the Suns obviously would like to re-sign him this offseason. I think things will start moving one way or the other tomorrow when Dragic's agent meets with the FO and lets them know what Dragic wants.

We are just getting tweets or reports from people speculating, either based on their personal thoughts or based on some speculation by other front offices, or potentially even rumors opposing front offices want to start.

Zach Lowe is saying that the Celtics and Nuggets have talked about a Ty Lawson trade. I wonder if the Suns could convince the Celtics that Bledsoe would be better. But that require an inclination within the Suns front office to move Bledsoe, and I doubt that inclination exists.

@WeNeedPlaymaker @Carlton_KB Woj just reported the Suns are meeting with him and want to re-sign him. Stein reported they're shopping Thomas
only if they dont lowball dragic. other than that, the answer should be no, and mcdo should not hesitate to trade dragic for a low first round pick.

let's put a number out there mcdo, how much are they offering him, then we'll decide if dragic should take it or if mcdo should quickly cash in and trade dragic for the 29th pick. TIME IS RUNNING OUT!

But he's young and athletic and seems to be falling out of favor a bit over there, so he could be gettable.

They are trying to move him in a package with Jonas for a "star." Sound familiar? Raptors fans do not like him at all & I've read he is into some shady shit outside the team. Spend a couple hours on the Raptors board before you make up your mind.
I've been a little irked at Valanciunas's slow progress, but I think it would be a mistake to move him.

I've never been impressed with Terrence Ross.

I trust Woj more then Howard Beck.

Nuggets are going to have a fire sale I feel. So many moveable pieces on short term contracts there. Interestingly enough Ty Lawson is was not one of the guys I thought would be moved. Guess Boston envisions him nxt to Smart?

Lowe also had this to say about Phoenix in his trade deadline column:

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/nba-t ... th-faried/
It’s very hard to find a good big man on a team that might be willing to deal for Dragic on an expiring contract. The Rockets loom, and while the Lakers always bank on the glitz of L.A., I’m not sure Jordan Hill cuts it as a frontcourt upgrade for Phoenix. As I reported in December, other teams have long felt that Phoenix would prefer dealing Isaiah Thomas; he has three years left on a contract that declines in value every season, and that opens up a broader trade market.

It also opens up the possibility of Phoenix dropping from three starting-caliber point guards to just one if Dragic leaves after a Thomas trade. But Phoenix in that scenario could pivot to cap space, and it’s still well stocked with future picks and young players. And Phoenix may well just shrug and dole out $35 million combined per season to keep all three point guards for now; it already plays two of them together for most of every game, and that $35 million doesn’t look so insane with the cap set to leap and Markieff Morris locked up on a knockout deal

Hopefully Denver wants more than Boston is willing to give up for Lawson (but they do have a ton of picks if that is what Denver is after and could probably part with Bradley and maybe one of their bigs).

I figured they were one of the best suitors for a Thomas trade since they were after him this summer, could use a scoring guard with two mostly defensive guards, and since McD and Ainge probably trust each other and could come up with a reasonable deal.

i think mcdo wanted to leak the word out from their paid suns media that they tried to sign dragic before a mcdo self-imposed deadline/redline. i think mcdo wanted to guage dragic's interest first whether he wants to take the offer sheet (within the trade day deadline) before he trade him for 10 cents on the dollar.

but we dont know yet how much mcdo is offering dragic, so we dont know if dragic is right to reject the offer.

I've been wanting to write that post all day. You're just not going to get a difference making big for Dragic. Rockets could offer TJones, maybe Mont but would have to include Popalikanaou, Lakers? It would have to be Randle to start a conversation. Nash and Ed Davis wouldn't do it. Nor would Hill.

Even in we were to talk to Miami...what would they give back? Would Boston want Isaiah Thomas for Brandon Bass? Doubtful. Would we trade Dragic for Bass? What would Bass really do? Plus he's a FA.

I'd just try get Bass, Olynyk, Bradley, and the Clippers 1st rounder for Bledsoe and Reggie Bullock.

if i were dragic's representative, i would be okay with taking less money if the suns FO can guarantee bledsoe is gone after the trade deadline

I'm not sure if I'd want Taj, but I've heard some of the rumblings out here on sports radio, take it for what you will I drive all day and I was bored, but they think Taj is movable. Dragic was not mentioned and I'm not sure what they would be able to give, but Chicago is looking for a 3 D small forward or scoring forward to help take off the scoring load of Rose and Butler. One thing that they mentioned was that Taj was the easiest to trade because of his contract, and that the Bulls would want to dump some salar
y as that Jimmy Buttler was going to command a significant contract this summer. Green and filler?

I'd be interested principally because I like Ennis as a prospect. I've not been impressed by Avery Bradley, but then, I mostly watch Suns games.

IF we were to keep Dragic and lose Bledsoe, I would insist we trade IT. IT and Bled can work, but IT and Goran is a disaster.

Disaster isn't accurate at all. And actually they've been better lately; Thomas has become a better catch and shoot threat as the season has progressed. I would never start the pair together though. But yes, my preference would be to move Thomas as well.

Because Bradley isn't that impressive. I would prefer the expiring contract of Marcus Thorton, but I doubt Boston would want to tie up all that money in Bradley and Bledsoe.

There are some positives to Bradley that make me open to his inclusion. He's a solid (but not as good as advertised, similar to Bledsoe) defender and I think he fits better with Dragic because he's not a guy that needs the ball in his hands.

I really have no issue with the Bledsoe/Dragic backcourt. It was very effective last season and only the addition of a ball dominant, shoot first, 3rd PG seems to have thrown it off. It was pretty widely regarded as a top-5 backcourt coming in to the season.

who said horny should? before the suns signed bled to an extension, i was hoping the suns continue with dragic and green as starters in the backcourt.
