Part me wonders if they already checked out of the regular season. I read that we can’t be any worst than 8 and after the clippers loss, we are most likely to be in the 7 vs 8 matchup anyways, so who cares if you're 7 or 8 in that case, home court is nice but it’s still a one game eliminator regardless.

We still have a reasonable chance at #6. If we beat SAC and MIN, and NOP loses to GSW or LAL, we’re in.

Would have preferred Minny but at least we've had some success with Denver this year.

I don’t think Denver is likely for us…if we beat Minny Denver will be 2, if we lose to Minny Denver will be 3, but we will be in the play-in. Only way we get Denver is if we beat Minny but end up 7 because NOP beats GS and LA…they are currently losing to GS

These are very helpful in figuring out the scenarios possible:

Well our route to 6 is easy to see. We have to win and the Pels have to lose.

Yep…our opponent in the 7-8 game is a bit murkier.

We get 7 if we lose or if we win and Lakers lose…so those scenarios:

We win(all scenarios assume Lakers lose, otherwise we are 6):

Kings beat Blazers - we face Kings
Kings lose, warrriors beat Jazz - we face Warriors
Kings, Warriors both lose - we face Lakers

We lose to Minny

Lakers win: we face Lakers
Lakers lose:(see scenarios above).

If we take care of our business and beat Minny, we likely will either be 6 or hosting the Kings in the 7/8 game where winner plays Denver. Loser hosts 9/10 winner for a chance to play OKC.

If we lose we either host LAL or Sacramento(depending on Lakers/Pels outcome) with winner likely facing Minny. Loser hosts 9/10 winner with a chance to play OKC.

We almost want to copy whatever LA does. If they lose to Pelicans we probably want to lose so we get the Kings in the play-in and set us up to play Minny if we win the 7/8 matchup.

If Lakers win, we obviously want to win as that gives us the 6 seed.

If we lose/lakers win, our path becomes Lakers/Wolves or Lakers/Warriors/Thunder

If we win/Lakers lose, our path is Kings/Nuggets or Kings/Lakers/Nuggets


But that’s obviously just fan talk…the players just need to go win
