5 years? Good. Players need to go next if we have another embarrassing season. I hope he’s ready for a rebuild.
A rebuild when we’re way the F over the cap and control none of our own picks for seven years? Sure thing. We’ll do it just like… uh… somebody must have done it before, right?
There's a first time for everything, Cap.
Ishbia is NOT a rebuilding kind of guy. The sooner everybody here realizes that the better.
I think the roster is the biggest issue, but Budenholzer is a better fit with the personnel that the Suns have. I think he can get a better offensive product out of this group, but I'm not sure that elevates enough to have a different out in the postseason. Maybe it upgrades them to being able to win a playoff series.
Agreed on the offense. We're going to need a personnel upgrade defensively. How and if that can be accomplished is another story.

Obviously Torrey Craig is the answer.

I just wish Okogie could shoot the damn ball at a decent clip. I'm sure he puts in the work but not everybody has the talent offensively obviously. Defensively, he's a monster.
The only way to tear it down and rebuild would be to trade Booker to Brooklyn for our picks back…of course you’d also still have pick swaps coming up. I think there is a way to try and quick tank, but it involves getting your 2025 pick back from Brooklyn and keeping Book. Trade KD and Beal for youth/picks/expirings…be bad for 2 years(can be good in 2025-26 since there’s a pick swap that year) and strike big in 2026 free agency.

Obviously that includes trading Booker away to facilitate that.
Take a look at the Booker trades proposed by fans/media of other teams, and tell me which you think could be the foundation for a rebuild.
Why would I or the front office care what fans/media of other teams propose for trades?

As a measure of what he can fetch, it’s more objective than proposals of Suns fans.
“Are you crazy?! You think I’m going to go for seven years and try to get there? You enjoy the 2030 draft picks that we have holding? I want to try to see the game today.” — Ish 3/13/25

With all the pick swaps in the future they may have to go the Larry Nance route where they trade a star for multiple rotation players.

Kind of how I feel about the situation and the way to salvage it. Book would be Nance in this situation and could potentially bring back a decent clip that could give us a lot more depth. Just blows because he’s the guy who deserves it more than anyone on the team and suffered the most to get to this point and you’re still putting a lot of stock into 2 aging stars to stay healthy.

Wrong.
At one point there were calls of Lakers trading Kuz for Book. Come on.
Booker would easily command a young rising player and a couple first rounders.
No chance Thunder say no to Book for Jalen Williams or Chet.
Miami would give us Adebayo and picks for Book I bet.
