Taxes are pointless anyway, since the government has unlimited means and can just print money. The only reason they collect taxes is to be mean.

Federal income taxes were only supposed to be temporary. There is nothing quite as permanent as a temporary government program.

So Trump ran a campaign ad that said that if he wins in 2024, he will create a "unified Reich." After people saw and pointed this out, he deleted the video. But, ummmm, very not okay? WTF is this literal Nazi shit?

I think the story was that it was created by someone else, and it wasn't looked at very closely. Trump or his people didn't see the Reich bs, and now it's become a scare point.
