yeah, after being told a few hours ago that they will trade him if he doesnt commit to resigning with the suns asap? (even bledsoe didnt have to do this)Sunsfan4life wrote:I just said he asked to be traded. You said he didn't. I posted an article backing me up. Theres no problem...just proving that your statement was incorrect
This is SDC's M.O. He makes up his own narrative & then acts like we are fools for not understanding whatever the heck he's talking about. I'm not sure on what planet the Suns offered Goran a deal & then decided to trade him because he wouldn't accept it. Every - single - piece of reporting is telling you the opposite. Dragic requested the meeting. Dragic informed the team he'd like to be traded through his agent. Dragic then went to practice the next day. Dragic reiterated to the media he'd like to be traded. Those are the facts.AmareIsGod wrote:SDC... You're a really antagonistic son of a bitch, aren't you? You really get yourself off on trying to see how much of an ass you can be to others, float out ridiculous notions, bask in "nanan told you so, told you so" childlike antics and rack up hash tags like the 2nd coming of Twitter.

The Phoenix Suns reportedly will decide whether to trade Goran Dragic after the two sides meet privately. If Phoenix feels there's a significant chance of losing Dragic as a free agent, the team will be more likely to pull the trigger on a trade before the Thursday deadline.
pls post your links. and which meeting are you referring to? the previous meetings where he was complaining about his role on the team? or the last meeting where he "demanded a trade"?Dragic requested the meeting.
Welp, I expected tall skinny shooter, thats what I got.OE32 wrote:Back to Suns news:

here's what dragic said a few weeks ago.Sunsfan4life wrote:Ok...so just to review. You said Dragic did not demand a trade. I said he did. You said some sort of smartass remark, Then I posted an article proving me right and you said he demanded a trade because he told phoenix he would not re-sign there when asked. Ok...
So just to recap he did demand a trade.....exactly like I said. #youwerewrongIwasright
perfectly willing to finish his season, then walk away. doesnt make any sense for dragic to demand a trade to NY, LAL before the trade deadline because it gets him nothing. OTOH, trading somebody who might walk away after the deadline gets you "assets", 2nd round picks, expiring contracts.“Every team in the NBA is an option to me, because it is a privilege to play for any team in the NBA. When the time comes I’m going to sit down with my family and my agent and try to make the best decision for myself.”
Dragic said he has not given more specific thought to his decision, preferring to focus on the season, other than that he will be a free agent this year.
“Right now, I’m so focused to play those 38 games left of the regular season and hopefully we’re going to make the playoffs,” Dragic said. “Right now is no time to think about the free agency because I want to be focused. I want to help my teammates.
I can't figure out if he's really slow or if he's just so long that he looks like he stepped in molasses. I mean... I don't have that same problem with Len so I'm leaning towards incredibly slow. The Bobster wrote:Alec Brown's NBDL debut - 12 min, 2/5 FG, 2 Reb, 5 Blk, 6 Pts
If he can ever add some strength the Suns might have something. He's got a nice shot - he just has to be to defend somebody when he's out there.
Yes, he does look slow, and that will probably put a lower ceiling on his development.carey wrote:I can't figure out if he's really slow or if he's just so long that he looks like he stepped in molasses. I will do my best not to call you any names. But you're trying to hang this on McDonough solely. That bold part that Dragic said is exactly why every fan is upset at Goran right now. It was a boldfaced lie. He's been "feeling this for 2 years" and was apparently just putting on a good show for the media. Then he comes in and does the exact opposite of what he's been saying all season long. Do you see why the fans are upset? I will seriously go insane if I have to read you absolve Goran of blame and put this on McDonough for the next year.SDC wrote:here's what dragic said a few weeks ago.

We're the Phoenix Suns, defense holds no value here.Shabazz wrote:I'm not seeing it with Alec Brown. Tall, good shooter. But he was a 4 year college player that looked completely overmatched against summer league competition. I don't have high hopes. I guess the upside is he turns out to be a Novak type? I have a hard time seeing what position he guards in the NBA.
see, here's the thing. that last meeting of the minds with the mcdo wasnt his idea but the suns FO. (JUST LOOK AT THE TIMING!!!!) unless you have proof otherwise (which you DONT). why would he want to do move to a tanking LAL or NY now when he can just wait till the season is over?carey wrote:I will do my best not to call you any names.
