The makers of it(Dinesh D'Souza, Katherine Engelbrecht, & Gregg Phillips) haven't said anything to say it was debunked. In the movie they show a guy dropping off ballots and claim they are all fraudulent votes and he is committing a crime. So the guy, who was just dropping of his family’s legal ballots doesn't like that he was featured in a film claiming he committed a crime by dropping off fake ballots, making him the mortal enemy of Maga. He sued for defamation.
State investigators in Georgia have since found that Mr. Andrews committed no crime and that he had legally deposited the ballots for himself and several members of his family.
The conservative media company Salem Media Group has apologized to a Georgia man who was falsely depicted as having committed election fraud in the film 2,000 Mules, which Salem co-produced and released in 2022
“It was never our intent that the publication of the ‘2,000 Mules’ film and book would harm Mr. Andrews,” Salem said in a statement on Friday. “We apologize for the hurt the inclusion of Mr. Andrews’s image in the movie, book and promotional materials have caused Mr. Andrews and his family.”
The movie has been pulled from a lot of places. I can’t see if this case ever came to a conclusion. They are sorry for the hurt they caused the guy by including him in the movie? In2 is right. The movie makers don’t say they were wrong or he was innocent. Georgia State Investigators say the movie makers were wrong and he’s innocent.
I wonder how much he is asking for. If he wins does that mean justice was served or is it just another case of Biden manipulating the legal system? It appears to me that lies can have consequences and that the legal system is working just fine.

The ONLY evidence the GOP could muster for their stolen election scandal was the 1000 mules movie. Anyone NOT Maga says it’s been totally debunked. Anyone Maga says the movie is totally true. Once again whose facts do you go by? If the defamation suit finds the movie makers made up their evidence and makes them pay the guy a bunch of money what will Maga say? It was all fake? The judge was corrupt along with everyone else of course?
