ShelC wrote:Westbrook is lobbin' haymakers at Reggie Jackson right now.

"He's a big part of our success thus far. But you have to determine if somebody don't want to be here then you can't make them be here"

"We have a chance of winning a championship and if Reggie is not here we still have a chance of winning a championship."

Westbrook on deadline in OKC: "Normal. Ain't too many people talking about getting traded but one person."
Love it.

If OKC can get Jarret Jack and Brook Lopez, that would be a tremendous move.

It's nice that Denver is moving on, but they are basically giving away all of their players. They aren't really getting much of anything in return; in McGee's case, they actually have to give up a 1st-rounder just to be rid of him. I don't like that. I don't envy their situation whatsoever.

Afflalo has stunk for them this season and can opt-out at the end of the year. They got a first rounder and a second rounder for him.

McGee is abysmal. I'd give him away in a heartbeat. And the pick they used to get him wasn't their own pick. It is from OKC and the pick has considerable protection.

I really hope OKC can land Kanter. That would be an amazing get for them. Much better than Lopez.

I would say Kanter/Novak for Perkins/Jackson/Jones.

Interesting move by Flip. Good deal for Brooklyn too.

They should have just kept that first rounder.

To be fair, Flip at the time thought he had a competitive roster. Miscalculation for sure. I love draft picks, but they aren't in desperate need of prospects. They're loaded.

Shcoked they couldn't get more for Thad. Always liked him as a player, thought the sixers didn't get enough for him, but now it looks look they were fine. Wonder what kind of deal he gets this off-season
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”
