There's something fishy going on here...

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Ya I think LeBron wants to play with him eventually…maybe not year 1, but he can’t be letting some random team draft him. He wants LA to draft him, but we are apparently the other team he’s ok with drafting him. Or more likely, we are just doing agent favors.
Re: 2024 NBA Draft
The latter, I suspect. We’re just making noise about Bronny at 22 to try to pressure the Lakers into taking him at 17.Split T wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 8:58 pmYa I think LeBron wants to play with him eventually…maybe not year 1, but he can’t be letting some random team draft him. Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Imagine if they draft Bronny on a pinky-swear promise from LeBron to sign for a discount in the 25-26 season.

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
It might be possible there's a 2 yr plan with Bronny and LBJ. We draft him with a later pick, Bron plays out his contract with LA for $50mil and then takes a 2yr minimum here to play with his son.

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
As long as it's a 2nd round pick they somehow acquire.
I'd still expect them to come away with someone else young and can actually play next season.

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
If it’s a wait a year thing, no thanks. Time is not on our side; if they do this, it has to be this summer.

If the Suns end up with Lebron James I'll change my avatar to a poop emoji for a month.
Re: 2024 NBA Draft
I agree if it’s at 22, but if we trade 22 for 27/38 and take Bronny at 38, I won’t even be that upset if LeBron never comes. But if we take him at 22 to wait a year for LeBron, that’s dumb.
Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Sounds about right. Suns get an aging superstar just as he starts falling off.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
I'd be fine with Kolek; it's better than trading the pick. I think he is solid and could be very good, I am just not convinced he will be the best available.
Re: 2024 NBA Draft
I think you're right, but how you sell it is that we don't know how many yrs and opportunities we have left. This "could" be the last year he has that chance & the last yr to win another title. A career ending incident could happen at any time.Split T wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 8:58 pmYa I think LeBron wants to play with him eventually…maybe not year 1, but he can’t be letting some random team draft him. Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Rich Paul said Lebron is not signing with the suns for the minimum.

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Of course Lebron isn’t signing for the minimum. Well not this year at least…
Re: 2024 NBA Draft
So, there is no possibility of LeBron coming to the Suns, because right now, that's the only path.

I don't blame him, but he's not immortal.
