These 2nd apron restrictions suck. In some ways they actually stop us from getting UNDER the apron, which seems dumb.

Is D. Lee good at facilitating ? He might have to be a backup PG.

It'll be a win if D. Lee is able to get back to playing at an NBA level after such a bad injury. I don't really expect him to facilitate or change his game, just get buckets.

This whole new luxury tax apron crap has really limited anything we can do. It’s depressing that we have to rely on guys taking a hit on the minimum to play here.

Eubanks had big flaws. But given that we have zero assets and resources to pursue any other players due to the second apron, I honestly wonder if we'll find that we actually can't do as well as Eubanks in free agency this offseason. Wouldn't be surprised if we had an even worse backup C next year given how things have been going.

We can just play Nurk 48 minutes.

I’d rather just take our chances with someone else…a rookie or someone like Bamba or Goga

This but I wouldn’t mind us going after Luke Kornet on a minimum deal.

I don’t know much about him, but I’m happy with the idea. Ya we could do worse, but if we don’t do better than Eubanks we will be in trouble, so we gotta try…I’ll throw Trendon Watford out there as well. Maybe more of a 4, but he can play small ball 5

Perhaps, but I didn't see a whole lot there that he could have done differently.
(Regarding improper utilization of Eubanks) Maybe Booker and Durant shouldn't dump the basketball to him guarded in the lane with his back to the basket with the shot clock about to explode? Maybe stick to DHOs and lobs ala Lively with the Mavs? A lot could have been done differently.

I don't think Book, KD, or Beal are the type of players that make plays like that over and over at will, like Kyrie, Luka, Haliburton, LeBron or CP3.

We certainly didn’t use him very well. He’s strictly a rim runner and not a very good short roll playmaker…we tried to use him like we use Nurk and that didn’t work…

He was better with Portland and probably a lot of that was how they used him. He’s better with a pg spoon feeding him…not great when you make him make decisions. He should just be screening and rolling on offense and nothing else

That's fine but you can still instruct them to shoot the ball rather than dump it to Eubanks with the shot clock running down.
