Let's hope Dunn is the first step in a team heart transplant.

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Quentin Post at 56 please(if he makes it that far) no clue who else to like…maybe that Nunez guy? Or do we try and trade up for Kolek?
Re: 2024 NBA Draft
I don’t want to put too much pressure on him, but I think Dunn’s floor is 1st team defense and finals MVP

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Bold question, possibly very silly question, probably waaaY to early to even think about rn but does Dunn start purely for defensive purposes? Just stick him on the best players and let him maul them all night.
Beal-Book-Dunn-KD-Nurk
Vet-PG, Grayson, O’Neale, Bol, Vet C
Ideally you want nothing but shooters next to him and Nurk fucks that all up. Maybe Nurk finally develops his 3pt shot? *sigh*

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
There seem to be a few relatively highly rated players still on the board so maybe trading up to early second round would make sense (if not too costly)
Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Dunn makes more sense with the big 3 than with bench guys…just depends I guess on who the backup 5 is..if we get say Payne and Bamba, Payne/Beal/Dunn/KD/Bamba is playable for Dunn. I like him in KD at the 5 minutes…How does this impact Royce…I still want Royce back, but they will certainly be fighting over minutes.

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Wouldnt mind Enrique Freeman. Really expecting a James jones special and for it to be some random ass player similar to Camara.
Re: 2024 NBA Draft
Seems like Dunn is a really bad shooter. It will be hard to play him since teams will just say off him on offense. I hope he'll start working on that right away, but with numbers like his (20% 3pt) I don't know if a guy can ever learn to be a good shooter if they're that bad coming out of college.
Re: 2024 NBA Draft
I feel like the reason we traded for #56 is just in case LA passes on Bronny at #55.

Very bad shooter in college…some reports said he impressed in workouts with his shooting…he also is long and athletic, so his lack of shooting isn’t as big of a problem as say Okogie’s…He’s also probably the best wing defender in the draft…do yourself a favor and watch some highlights…he’s special defensively…quite a bit better than Okogie I’d say.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 8:50 pmSeems like Dunn is a really bad shooter. We probably don’t want to upset Paul/the Jameses if they prefer LA, though. But if LA passes on him…Wally_West wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 8:52 pmI wouldn’t be mad if we drafted him at 56. Wouldn’t even be mad if we traded 56 with Roddy to move 54 just to be petty lol.

Dunn’s shot doesn’t look as bad as I expected so it’s not impossible he improves imo

Re: 2024 NBA Draft
I completely understand not drafting a small guard. Point guard has the steepest learning curve for rookies and I don't think there would've been any chance they'd start a rookie PG at all in the next season. Getting a veteran for the role is a much better option.
The most excited I can get for Dunn right now is being hopeful that he isn't a massive offensive liability. His defense looks promising, but I still need to see it in action. Worst case scenario is they missed on pick #28, which wouldn't be a travesty.
