I think coach Buds influence is being really underrated. Just my opinion, if you get the big 3 shooting 3s like they should be better than last year.
Love, Hurts.

LOL, you DID say "Name your bet".... So he named it
Yes, but..

It's like if I said my dad can beat up your dad and then you wanted to make a bet on it but the bet wouldn't count if my dad started taking a boxing class before the fight.

You guys started it by posting our current roster and then talking about just plugging in Kris Dunn. We are so far off from being a competitive team.

Barring a major change, we are going to end up out of the play in. Sounds like you're scared to be wrong.
I'm never scared of being wrong here, which should be pretty obvious with how often I am wrong.

I didn't post roster related projections. My commentary started with your claim of all those teams doing something to get better than the Suns on June 28th.

Now you want to put in stipulations about what can happen in the future to hedge your original claim when my initial comment was highlighting exactly those unknown future scenarios.

So if you want to stick to the bet as I perceived it, the Suns will finish behind all of those other teams based on the current roster today, then lets do it. If not, then you're speaking out of both sides of your mouth.

I think he's our x-factor as much as anyone else.

If the Suns finish 11th I'll never post here again.
I would not like that! Please stay.

Westbrook decides to remain on the Clips for $4m. He would never have come here given his beef with KD, but I think he would have been an interesting FA if he had not opted in.

Only vibes at this point. He’s cooked when it comes to actually playing regular minutes.

His offensive numbers are solid…I can’t say I paid much attention to him this year…he was always slow, I’m sure he’s even slower now. Would be a useful situational shooter maybe…I wouldn’t want to give him a major role.

I don't expect any of the FA incomings to play a decent role except whatever PG they bring in. Jingles still shot 40% from 3 last year and the ball never sticks with him. Won't go over the minimum for him though.

Isn't that what I'm saying? If our roster is mostly set, we're finishing outside the play-in. It's going to take a major change to get us into the playoffs

Why would Ingles turn down $10+ million to play here for the minimum? I really don't think we'll get guys like this to sign here for less than market value after the stinker of a season we had last year.

Ingles had a team option, Orlando declined it, not Ingles…he’s definitely a minimum guy at this point

He didn't turn down anything; the Magic aren't picking up the option year.

The price they paid for him is ridiculous, but I think the Knicks bringing in Bridges is tremendous. There are a lot of intangibles there, reuniting him with Brunson and DiVencenzo. The Knicks are really solidifying an identity that is going to resemble what we've seen from the Heat during the Jimmy Butler area. And while I don't know about drafting Diadet, coming away with Kolek and McCullar is really strong. The Knicks are positioning themselves nicely. The 5 spot might be problematic with Hartenstein potentially leaving, but Jericho Sims may be able to grow into the solution.

With all of that said, the Anunoby contract is going to be one of the worst contracts in the league.

Knicks are set up to be a really good team for a long time…their biggest issue over the last 25 years has been chasing stars and trying to use only the Knicks brand to recruit them. They are putting a good product on the court now…players will want to come now.
