Can someone explain to me why Bamba is so bad? Low BBallIQ? Wasn’t he supposed to be a super cerebral player coming out?
3 teams and none of them have managed to get him to consistently play hard or develop a skill. At least, that's my analysis.

He has all the tools... so motor is the issue? I think he has something like a 7'8 or 7'9 wingspan... and he shoots threes willingly if not particularly successfully.

Oh well, no thanks then, even if he's a Bartelstein agent. Guess we don't want another big guy who thinks he should play the 4.
I don't understand these takes. He rebounds and blocks shots. His last two years in Orlando he shot 38% and 39% from on over 2 attempts per game, and that's not "particularly successful"?!

The complaints in Philly were he commits bad fouls and gets lost on defense.

The Suns seem determined to have their centers play a role in facilitating the offense, which is one of the reasons why I think they brought in Plumlee (who I like). If that's the case, Bamba probably wouldn't work here. But I would love have a long center on a minimum contract who rebounds, blocks shots, and stretches the floor. Keep his role to those things and he'd be fine.

Why not bring him in on an E10 contract? No harm there.

Wow, that's an interesting signing (Hartenstein to OKC). I like Hartenstein but dunno about that contract; that's a lot of money for him. OKC is going to be so big and hard to deal with. NYK lose some of their size and turn further into a team full of 6'7" and under guys. The Knicks are going to need some size if they want to go far next year.

Hartenstein broke out and the Knicks were limited with what they could offer. OKC was the biggest threat to sign him. Chet moves to the 4 and OKC gets some needed bulk but still keeps a versatile lineup with Chet at the 5 if need be. Knicks fans are freaking but they knew he was probably gone. Now they gotta find a legit backup/spot starter because they can't trust Mitch to stay healthy. They may have overplayed their hand with wings because it was their frontcourt that made them dangerous. Plumlee would've been a good signing for them IMO. Maybe they can snag Bitadze.

Didn't need him anymore with Plumlee who I think will be an upgrade. Good luck in Utah, Drew. Unfortunately, you weren't worth the tampering penalty.

Almost everybody in the NBA is overpaid these days. :P Man, what a time to be an elite athlete! They are handing out money like water in the 2020s.

Interesting rumor about Reggie Bullock. He isn't exactly in a position of most urgent need for us, but he does provide 3-and-D, which we were short on guys who could actually provide both of those things rather than just one (e.g. Grayson Allen) or the other (e.g. Okogie).

Batum to the Spurs. Nice squad they're putting together around Wemby.

Is he saying the Spurs are interested in Batum or that Batum will sign with the Spurs because those are two different things.

It’s Jake Fischer tho, so both are wrong lol ;)
