Again, WOW.

Remember he's an FA after the season because of how his deal is structured. So Philly prob thought someone was going to over pay him.

Also he had made some very questionable tweets back in December about Brent Browns rotation and how he should be getting more mins...I don't think they were happy about that. Does have a lot of potential though.
Yeah, I know he is a FA, although he is restricted. I just don't think the 76rs could afford to get rid of one of a prospect with his qualities for a pick, especially when he was a second round steal, which to a certain point gives credibilty to their staff. If there was real poison it would be a different story, but I see this as a mindless move.
He's unrestricted.
Google it, he is restricted.

No problem. Rule of thumb: three or less years in the L equals restricted.

I was confusing the fact that he took an unconventional route with his contract that would make it hard for the Sixers to re-sign him as unrestricted free agency.

Miami and OKC are the big winners today.

Hopefully, with this Miami trade, we won't have to see 2 under .500 teams make the playoffs.

Milwauke is making an interesting gamble. They get to forego paying Knight, but they were clicking and I think they'll miss his perimeter shooting.

The Bucks took a few steps back, but pocketing that 12 million Knight should be getting, should go a long ways in either free agency or salary absorption. Combine it with the 9 million annually they'll save in the Sanders buyout, they'll have a few dollars to spend, whether through trade/free agency. Gives more shots to Giannis and Middleton in the present, before the trade over the last 29, you figure 18-15, now, 15-18 to finish the season. Should be able to sew up the 6th seed and maybe Kidd will have those guys working as a team by the playoffs.

What wouldn't surprise me is MCW flourishing under Kidd and with many offensive weapons at his disposal in Milwaukee. He can't be the alpha and omega of an offense but I think the move will do him a lot of good.

I have to hold out hope that Knight will be a productive combo guard for us. He seems to be a good shooter. If he can hit open 3s, that would be huge. Dragic was doing that for us last year but wasn't very good at it this season, and it hurt.

And I know that cheering about addition-by-subtraction rings a bit hollow. But getting rid of IT is *HUGE* in terms of the spacing, chemistry, teamwork, etc. of our bench. Not having Thomas hog the ball and chuck up shots every possession will help a lot of our bench guys do better and be more motivated. I think that'll be the biggest win of the whole deadline for us.

The thing about Knight is that he will be/should be your primary ball handler, he's hit a few clutch spot up shots, but his game is getting penetration, mostly for his finishes. I'm going to think his RFA status coming up, was the major reason why the Bucks sent him packing, not really his game. Kidd seems to like the guards who are long and can do multiple things well, Knight does that, good length on defense, adequate passer, but tremondous penetrator.

Just very, very sad.

Loved CHEERING for Dragic. Played so hard.

Can't say I love cheering for anyone else on the team except Tucker.

Just sad, sad day.

I left my phone at home today when I went to work. Worst day ever to do that. We traded ALL OF THAT....ALL of our assets for Brandon Knight and a bag of dicks???

I'm so confused about all these trades. I still can't find a clear breakdown.

I'm confused. We coughed up Plumlee, ennis and the lakers pick, the f*cking lakers pick for what? B.knight (an upcoming restricted free agent)? We thought it would be a good idea to make our lack of front court depth worse? How the f do we move this team forward in the future. We just have a bunch of mediocre draft picks + cap space which we couldn't do anything this with last off season.

Sorry if I am confused at all but we seemed to make ourselves much worse with the only chance for improvement being maybe we can get a free agent in the future when everyone knows we just pissed off our best player. We didn't even hand the over the team to our young pups. We gave one two plus Goodwin and warren still buried on the bench.

Why are we so obsessed with 2 pgs when that was a large reason our roster was so out of whack. And even when it worked, it wasn't good enough to get us in the playoffs last year.

Sorry for the rant but its just we don't seem to have committed to any particular direction. If we had just sold off the dragics for less than market value, I would have been understanding of that. But we seemed to have tried to plug the loss dragic whilst giving up a whole of future assests to go backwards

I hope knight and Bledsoe don't have the same agent

F*CK!

Arn tellem was the agent of a player that played hardball with us in the past. Who was it? Was it JJ? I know it was Arn.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”
