IT3 certainly aren't redundant. Bled is best crashing to the rim. Knight is best bombing from distance. A good pairing offensively, I'm willing to bet.

Not surprised Ennis was key to this. He's going to be a player in this league. Just redundant with Bledsoe. Bledose/Ennis was the key choice to make for our future - I just thought we'd delay the decision a bit longer.

I get the philosophy of having multiple ballhandlers, scorers, distributors on the floor. It worked last year and now Knight is younger, more athletic and a better defender. He's also one of the better rebounding guards in the league which I like. The contract situation will be interesting. He turned down 12 from Milwaukee supposedly and Arn Tellem is his agent. Hoping Arn and Lon go back a bit and can come to a nice agreement.

IT3...I like him as a player in the right role/situation but that wasn't the case here. Glad we kind of undid his deal with Thornton's expiring contract.

Don't like that we gave up Plumlee and didn't get a big back. TRob...if we sign him, let's see what he's got. Something's gotta be up with him though that he's been traded around, released, couldn't find minutes anywhere. That's a red flag with me. All he needs to do is bring some energy, hustle and rebounding.
It's been reported as 9, where did you hear 12?

All in all I'm optimistic, we have a young core with potential, all of whom are under 25, and 3 additional first round picks to be used in fodder.

At this point I think we need a rebounding upgrade at the 4, continued development from Len, and an upgrade at SF. If a big time 3/4 comes available we should have the ammo to go for it hopefully.

Look at it this way, if Love were available from Minnesota right now, don't you think a package of say the Morris brothers and 4 first rounders looks pretty attractive?

I think the Bucks were offering 8-9, Tellem wanted 12. Can't find anything solid though and he's been playing well enough to command at least 11 to start.

Ewwww.
Don't you see the potential? Plus Robinson is like a brother to the Morris twins.
It would be the one prediction i get right if we pick him up. Perfect Player of the bench. Gives you Rebounding an Energy. I would not complain if we pick him up.

Already being reported miami will offer dragic the 5yr max. So he'll be overpaid in about 4 months.

Can anyone see us signing Ish Smith? I thought I saw he got bought out by NO (Or where ever he ended up after the trades).

I think I personally would prefer to let Archie take some of the spare PG minutes when Bled and Knight need to rest. Although, more likely in my opinion is one of those 2 on the court at all times w/ a 2 guard rotation of Thorton and Green. Archie will still be buried, probably...

I hope they don't give Thornton any minutes. I can already tell I'm going to hate him. He's like a shitty version of Gerald Green. Just give Green all those minutes and eat the expiring money on Thornton.

It's a weird time. What should've been a season where we took that next step, we've basically leveled off, maybe even taken a 1/2 step back. So do we continue towards the playoffs with our vets or try and get some young guys (TJ, Archie) some meaningful minutes?

Thornton shouldn't get any minutes. He can fill it up, but there's no point giving him PT.

So, after a night and a morning, I am feeling much worse about the trades. The primary issue is Brandon Knight. Suns mgmt is treating him like a star, but all I read about him screams "Shannon Brown." Literally, he is hated by Milwaukee fans like that.

Then Gambo says he was bummed about the trade because he wants to be THE pg and the man. We gave up the Laker's pick for that? I would rather have just kept Ennis.

We have this concept of a two pg system and we keep trying to pry players into it, but its really hard to find pg's that want to do it. My guess is that is why Ennis was dealt. He is not a combo guard and wouldnt be happy in this concept of a system (its not a system yet).

JC: I disagree with a lot of your post. Brandon Knight is nothing like Shannon Brown. He's a better shooter and defender, a MUCH more willing passer, and he's not hated by Milwaukee fans at all. They were campaigning (meekly) that he should be an All-Star this year. They're bummed that he is leaving.

Knight hasn't made any statements about wanting to be "the man". In fact, either Coro or Gambo had a quote saying he'd be great at SG and would happily accept the role and not make waves.

"Then Gambo says he was bummed about the trade because he wants to be THE pg and the man."

Paul Coro has tweeted the opposite, I'd say he's more reliable than Gambo.

Knight is nothing like Shannon Brown.

And Tyler Ennis was not redundant of Bledsoe.

Miami just got some very bad news. Chris Bosh has blood clots in his lungs and is out indefinitely. May miss the remainder of the season.

Very serious stuff. Hope all the best for him.

Second instance of that this season, Teletovic being the first. Weird.

I hope you are right. Its just most of what I see is "we are so glad that he is gone" stuff. I would be absolutely overjoyed to be wrong about this.

The word was that Gambo got his info from Dudley who is Knight's teammate. Again. Hope this is wrong info.

Talk me off the ledge. . .please.
