Im sure players get lied to all the time in the recruitment process…Miami also must maybe didn’t expect Winslow to be there…he was highly sought after and I believe is the guy Boston tried to trade like 4 1sts to move up and take.

Wasn’t he the projected #1 pretty close to draft date?

Honestly, I don't think he was even close in that draft. It was going to be KAT, without a doubt, even early on.

I think the top 4 were fairly locked in…Winslow definitely got some talk as high as 5 though.

Rimmer's a new name. He was a video coordinator/player dev guy in Milwaukee for 4 years before joining the Lakers staff last season.

I'm hearing rumblings that they will play at least 30 games vs the Eastern Conference teams, including a home and away game vs each team. Need to get confirmation from a trusted source though.

It's kind of crazy to me that the Suns play the Lakers 4 times in their first 9 games, including pre-season.

*edit: I honestly didn't realize that I made the same joke as Espo did. :Feeling ashamed of myself: :oops:
